Una has listened to her many previous clients and meticulously kept an up-todate list of everything a bride could ask for, from the best hairdresser for an up-do, to the quickest local alterations service in case of a dressmaking emergency! No matter what your query, you can trust us to have the answer and ensure that everything runs smoothly, leaving you free to enjoy the most magical day of your life.

Let’s Be Civil If you are not getting married in one of the three local churches, our well-appointed dining room easily converts to hold an intimate civil ceremony. Brook Lane is pre-approved and licensed to hold civil ceremonies and we can recommend a local registrar. We are fully familiar with the legalities, fees and paperwork required to hold a civil ceremony and can advise you on all aspects.

Once your service is over, you can enjoy a prosecco reception with your guests while our staff swiftly change the dining room to be ready in time for your reception dinner.

For The love Of Food

Kenmare is the gourmet heaven of the Southwest and at Brook Lane we pride ourselves on our award-winning food. Our ethos is ‘farm to fork’ and all our ingredients are fresh, seasonal and local. Our rare breed pork and chicken come from our own sustainable farm. We are internationally renowned for our artisan free range pork, having competed in, and won, at the prestigious Fins Goustiers European Championships in France and the Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards. We are producers of our own chorizo, salami, pork burgers, hams and dry-cured bacon, as well as keeping our own hens which supply the hotel with fresh eggs every morning. We also use and sell a selection of local products such as bread, cheeses and ice-cream.

We have received rave reviews for our wedding meals and breakfasts, with many guests saying we serve the best food they have ever had at a wedding reception. We cook to order and no request is too much trouble. We are happy to cater for gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian diets, and can also provide a children’s menu, so none of your guests will feel left out. Our dining room is warm and welcoming with soft lighting and seating so comfortable that you will want to linger long over dinner.

We​ ​could​ ​not​ ​have​ ​asked​ ​for​ ​the​ ​day​ ​to​ ​go​ ​any​ ​ better.​ ​They​ ​were​ ​an absolute​ ​pleasure​ ​to​ ​deal​ ​ with​ ​and​ ​really​ ​went​ ​out​ ​of​ ​their​ ​way​ ​to​ ​make ​ things​ ​as​ ​easy​ ​as​ ​possible​ ​for​ ​us.​ ​All​ ​of​ ​the​ ​staff​ ​ were ​great​ ​on​ ​the​ ​day,​ ​an​ ​absolute​ ​credit​ ​to​ ​ the​ ​hotel.​ ​ It​ ​was​ ​particularly noticeable,​ ​both​ ​on​ ​the​ ​day​ ​ itself​ ​and​ ​after,​ ​the​ ​number​ ​of​ ​our​ ​guests that​ ​ mentioned​ ​to​ ​us​ ​how​ ​much​ ​they​ ​enjoyed​ ​their​ ​ respective​ ​meal,​ ​stay and​ ​breakfast​ ​the​ ​next​ ​ morning.​ ​I​ ​think​ ​all​ ​were​ ​in​ ​agreement​ ​that​ ​ the food​ ​and​ ​service​ ​were​ ​superb,​ ​with​ ​many​ ​ saying​ ​the​ ​food​ ​was​ ​the​ ​best they​ ​had​ ​eaten​ ​at​ ​ any​ ​wedding​ ​reception​ ​they​ ​had​ ​attended.

NO 35 RESTAURANT In addition to Brook Lane, the Brennan family also own No. 35, a restaurant in the heart of Kenmare town. No. 35 is cosy and relaxed with exposed timber beams, hand cut limestone, stained glass windows, and a roaring open fire. No. 35 also contains a small private dining room, the ideal location to host a pre-wedding dinner or postwedding brunch.

We had​ a​ wonderful​ day​ start​ to​ finish​ at​ Brook​ Lane.​ From​ arrival,​ the​ hotel​ looked​ fabulous​ and​ the reception​ was​ really​ lovely,​ with​ a​ great​ atmosphere.​ The​ staff​ were​ excellent​ throughout.​ On​ walking​ into​ the​ main room​ to​ have​ our​ meal​ the​ room​ looked​ amazing,​ the​ tables​ were​ set​ up​ just​ as​ I​ had​ pictured​ with​ the​ flowers​ and my​ favours​ placed​ around​ the​ place​ settings.​ When​ the​ food​ arrived​ I​ could​ not​ have​ asked​ for​ more,​ each​ course was​ perfect,​ and​ amazingly​ I​ ate​ every​ bit​ of​ all​ my​ courses!​ The​ guests​ were​ super​ impressed​ with​ the​ food,​ we​ had nothing​ but​ compliments​ from​ all​ the​ guests​ about​ the​ menu​ choice.
