Team Member Retires After 45 Years in the Industry

The Springdale Logistics Operations team recently recognized the retirement of Pricing Manager Geraldine Mansch. Mansch joined the Springdale team in 2014 as one of the first branch managers but has worked in the industry for 45 years.

President of Watco Logistics Eric Wolfe said, “I’ve worked with Geraldine since 1988. I am thankful for all she taught me and our Springdale team. We congratulate her on her career, but we will her miss her vast industry knowledge and business impact!”

Over the years, Mansch has become recognized for her commitment to customer service. “She is by far the most dedicated person I’ve ever worked with,” said VP of Technology Services David Dust. Her passion for the transportation industry is well known by all. Pricing Manager Kelly Pianalto stated: “Whenever you bring up transportation, she is excited to give her thoughts. She is truly passionate about her work.”

Mansch has no immediate retirement plans. “That’s the beauty of not knowing. I get to do anything.

“I’m speechless and overwhelmed,” she said. “I’ll miss everyone. Some I have worked with for over 30 years and are like family. It has truly been a pleasure to work for such a great company.”
