One World Romania

ONE WORLD ROMANIA, organized by the Czech Centre Bucharest, was born in 2008, with the help of ONE WORLD - the biggest documentary film festival on human rights in Europe (ONE WORLD -http://www.oneworld.cz/, started in Prague in 1999, as an initiative of Haclav Havel, and during the past 10 years expended in other cities like Bruxelles, Madrid, New York, Kiev or Bucharest) We hope to provide a more complex and balanced information on the issue of human rights and offer the possibility of a better understanding of the importance and of the connections between foreign political and social themes. Furthermore, we wish to contribute in this way to the public debate on the role that Romanian citizens and Romania can and should have in a globally interconnected world, the world which we live in.
