All campers should be familiar, and are required to comply, with all rules and regulations. You may request a copy of the complete Rules and Regulations is available at the guest registration office.
As a camper of Campland on the Bay and upon signing the registration cards, you and your guests are required to abide by all rules and regulations. Thank you for your cooperation.

WELCOME: CHECK-OUT TIME IS 12 Noon CHECK-IN TIME IS 2 pm
We may grant late check-outs, based on availability, during the winter season only. Please check with the Registration Desk on the morning of your departure to see if your site is available. Be sure to pack all personal property before departure time.
LATE ARRIVALS (AFTER 10 pm): Please restrict noise. You may be allowed to do basic a hookup on your site. For some sites or rigs you may not be permitted on the site until 8 am. We will provide alternate (no hookup) parking if available.
QUIET HOURS are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please turn off TVs, amplified sound, and lower voices to a whisper to allow your neighbors a good night’s rest. At management’s discretion, music between 8am and 11pm must be at a volume that does not disturb other guests. Music language must be clean and radio-friendly. Listen for our Quite-Time-Bell on summer nights.
LOST AND FOUND is in the Ranger Booth.
ACCESSIBILITY: The resort offers three ADA accessible restrooms, located at the Game Room building, “I” Section restroom and A Section restroom. “I” and “A” Sections include ADA showers. Portable ADA restrooms can be placed on or near your campsite upon request; we ask at least a 24-hour notice.
WI-FI is free. Camper use of the WI-FI is conditioned on Camper and Guests agreeing to and abiding by the WI-FI Terms & Conditions of Use when logging in to the WI-FI. (See page 8 for more information.)
For Your Safety & Security
HOSPITALITY RANGERS are available to assist you 24 hours a day. If you need assistance please feel free to stop a Ranger or call 858-5814219, or pickup any House Phone located at the A, C, D, F, G, I, M, and N bathrooms. Hospitality Rangers represent the Resort Management and are vested with the legal right and authority to enforce the Rules and Regulations on behalf of Owner and Resort Management. Hospitality Rangers are not police. CAMPERS, NOT CAMPLAND, ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR (AND CAMPER’S GUEST’S) OWN PROPERTY AND SAFETY. At all times, Hospitality Rangers must be treated with dignity and respect by Campers and their guests. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, CALL 911, AND THEN REPORT THE EMERGENCY TO A HOSPITALITY RANGER.
WARNING: Security cameras and audio recordings are in use in common areas of the Resort, this includes the Ranger gate, Market, Cantina, Ice Cream Parlor, Game Room, Front Desk, Storage areas, Marina, Maintenance building, Administration office, swimming pool, skate park, playground, and along resort fences/boundaries.
PLEASE LOCK YOUR VALUABLES AND BICYCLES! Unattended bicycles should always be locked. Coolers, refrigerators, cabinets etc., containing alcoholic beverages or other regulated substances should be supervised by an adult or locked. Protect your valuables. Lock unattended camping equipment in your vehicle whenever possible.
THE RESORT AFTER DARK: For everyone’s safety, security, and comfort, please carry a flashlight after dark, and return to your site by 11:00 pm.
ALCOHOL
AND
INTOXICATING SUBSTANCES (INCLUDING MARIJUANA)
are to be consumed in responsible quantities in accordance with legal age restrictions. Alcohol drinking games such as beer pong or any other excessive drinking games are not permitted. Campers and Guests may not be intoxicated (by alcohol or other substance) in the public areas or while operating any vehicle (including golf carts).
RIGHT TO REQUIRE CAMPER TO MOVE FROM CAMPSITE WHEN IMMINENT DANGER PRESENT Campland may require a Camper to move from one campsite to another campsite within the Resort if an imminent danger is present as determined by the Hospitality Rangers or Resort Management as provided in California Civil Code Section 1867.
HD CHANNELS
Campland offers a full range of High Definition (HD) Channels. Offering a 60-Channel Lineup as shown on the following page.
Our HD System will require a Digital/QAM Tuner. This is included in most newer TVs and digital cable boxes, adapters, or DVD/BluRay players. You will need to re-scan your TV Channels. Should you experience difficulties, our Ranger Department will gladly help.

• Go to AUTO SCAN click OK

NOTE: You must have your power booster for your antenna turned off. The first channel that will be available will be 47-10 CBS. There is a Channel / Program Guide on Channel 74-10.

PUBLIC BEACH: Please enjoy the beach responsibly. Please refrain from bringing glass, tents, or motorized vehicles to the beach. Refueling and use of gas containers are not allowed on the beach. All canopies, beach chairs, and other beach items must be removed from the beach when not in use.
POOL AREA: Enjoy our swimming pools and spas. Persons using the swimming pool or spa do so at their own risk. There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Parents – please supervise your children in the pool and spa areas. We recommend children under fourteen (14) years of age should not use the swimming pool or spa unless accompanied by an adult. Please refrain from bringing glass, speakers, pets, wheeled vehicles, or toys (except strollers and wheelchairs). Please use HEADPHONES and EAR BUDS for personal music.
Pets & Wildlife
Campland welcomes pets and wildlife. Here’s what you need to know.
PETS: Pet owners are responsible for their pets and must pick up after their pets in all areas of the resort. You must be able to control your pets at all times. Please use the designated Dog Walk Areas. Dogs must always be leashed (except in Dog Wood Park). Leashes must be kept no longer than 6 feet, including retractable ones. Pets cannot be left unattended outside of an RV or tent. Any pet left unattended may be impounded at the camper’s sole expense. The maximum number of pets per campsite for a Daily/Weekly guest is three (3). For Extended Stay guests, the maximum number of pets allowed is two (2). If your pet causes a disturbance anywhere in the Park, your pet may be required to leave the resort. Vicious dogs are expressly prohibited. Pit Bull, Staffordshire and Bull Terriers, American Bullies and Bulldogs, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Wolf Hybrids, Mastiffs, Argentine Dogos, and other aggressive mixes are prohibited on resort grounds. Service animals are allowed throughout the resort. The Pet Policies are attached to the complete set of Rules and Regulations. To view the pet policy, visit: www.campland.com/about/pet-policy.
WILDLIFE is protected in California and at Campland. We border the Kendall Frost Wildlife Preserve. The animals may be admired, but not handled or fed. It is a felony to harm, harass, or disturb wildlife, and is subject to a $20,000 fine and/or imprisonment. (SEC. 597 CA STATE PENAL CODE). WE MUST INSIST THAT YOU DO NOT FEED THE DUCKS, STRAY CATS, OR WILDLIFE OR HANDLE THEM. Please drive carefully and yield to wildlife.

• Keep your site clean and enjoy your home away from home.
• Refrain from placing carpets or rugs on the grass.
• Avoid tying clotheslines or anything else to our lovely trees, fences, or windbreaks.
• Use only one sleeping vehicle per site. (1 RV/Motor Home, Trailer, 5th Wheel, Tent Trailer, Truck Camper, or Van Conversion.)
• Kindly refrain from sleeping in passenger cars, utility trailers or open bed trucks.
• Keep truck campers or shells attached to their vehicles.
• Back into your site so hitches face the street.
• Only pull into a site and park with prior resort management approval.
• Camp in RVs that have an overall clean appearance.
• Make sure RVs and trailers are leak free.
• Set up your tent but please avoid the use of stakes on asphalt. Stay up to a maximum of 14 days in a tent. (7 day maximum allowed in Primitive area.)
• Avoid placing tents on grass areas
• Make sure all connections are watertight per City health codes. Protect against leaks.
• Report leaks or spills to our Hospitality Rangers at 858-581-4219.
• Use one fire pit per site. Dispose of hot coals and embers in fire pits or hot coal bins.
• Keep an eye on children around a fire. Fire extinguishers are located throughout the resort.

CAMPER GUESTS: Guests are only allowed from 8am to 10 pm. Walk-ins may be charged during special events or holidays. Guests are the responsibility of registered campers. Guests that would like to stay overnight must register with the front desk by 8 pm, subject to site occupancy.
GUEST PARKING: (Subject to availability) Guests must park in the “Temporary Parking area”, near the ranger booth, or in a staffdirected parking area. Guest parking passes are required. Fees will be charged for all overnight vehicles and extra persons beyond who was originally registered. Any guests intending to stay past 10 pm must register at the Front Desk before 8 pm for overnight camping. (Subject to site occupancy.)
Wheeled-Transportation Check List
Safety and security are top priorities. Driving or riding anything with wheels is at the rider’s sole risk and responsibility and must be operated in a safe and responsible manner. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children and underage guests. Wheeled transport can be ridden on asphalt roads ONLY. Wheeled vehicles are prohibited in buildings, sidewalks, walkways, and curbs. Exhibitionist maneuvers, tricks, and other techniques (i.e., riding against curbs, railing, etc.) are prohibited. Courtesy and awareness are always required.

• Wash your boat or RV at the Marina boat wash area ONLY.
• Refrain from using soap or other chemicals. Campland overlooks an ecologically sensitive wildlife refuge.

• Repairs are only allowed with prior management approval.
Beach and bay access is provided free to the public. 31 complimentary public parking spaces are available on a rst-come basis. Members of the public are welcome to visit Campland’s Cantina, Market & Co ee, Marina and Adventure Water Sports at Campland. Campland on the Bay is leased from the City of San Diego.
