SHELTER IN PLACE LOCATIONS - Main Lodge, Arcade, Adirondack Building, and Maintenance Building (indicated on map).
GUEST MESSAGES - Only emergency messages will be delivered to sites.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT - Check-in after 1:00 pm (Rentals 4:00 pm). Checkout before 11:00 am. To avoid disturbing fellow campers NO check-ins are permitted after 10:00 pm. All vehicles must register before entering the campground. Lost rental keys will result in a replacement fee of $25.00. All weather camping. No refunds for early departure.
CABLE TV - Cable TV hookups are available throughout the park.
NOISES / DISTURBANCES - Stay up and enjoy your campfires, but quietly please; sound travels loud and far at night (we do not allow group gatherings of more than 6 people per campfire). Quiet time is SundayThursday 10:00 pm to 8:00 am, Friday - Saturday and Holidays 11:00 pm to 8:00 am; respect your fellow campers. Violation will result in the enforcement of the One Strike Policy. Chainsaws, generators, firearms, fireworks, slingshots or bows & arrows are not allowed during quiet hours. To reach Security, Dial (518) 623-3207 (day) or (518) 708-3490 (night).
ONE STRIKE AND YOU’RE OUT POLICY - If a complaint is received by another guest or witnessed by our Security department or a staff member, we will give the offending party one warning. If the situation is not rectified immediately and another complaint is received, the offenders will be required to leave this campground without a refund for unused camping. Management is not responsible for accidents or injuries to guests or for the loss of valuables. Please notify management of any problems. If you have any questions, problems or complaints, let us know as soon as possible. We are here to help you have an enjoyable camping experience.
SECURITY - When entering the resort, be certain that your pass is visible to the guard. To reach the Security Gate / Guard House from a phone outside the resort, dial (518) 623-3207 (day) or (518) 708-3490 (night) from any regular, pay or cell phone. If no one is there, leave a complete detailed message on the answering machine. Managers will be periodically retrieving the messages. Please respect all Lake George Escape team members as they are just trying to ensure that every guest has a pleasant and memorable experience.
FIRES - Fires are permitted only in fire rings. Do not move fire rings. Please put fires out completely before leaving campsite. No cutting of trees. No fireworks allowed.
VISITORS - Visiting guests of registered campers must register at the office. Visitors/Guests (ages 16 and up) who are staying on sites until 9:00 pm or for day use will be charged $20.00 per person per day. Overnight guests will be charged $20.00 (age 16 and up). No overnight visitors or visitors after 9:00 pm are allowed unless prearranged with office.
PETS - Pets are welcome in your camping unit, provided they are kept on a leash, cleaned up after, not left unattended, and they do not infringe on the peace and enjoyment of your neighbor’s camping experience. All dogs brought in to the Park must provide a copy of their up to date vaccination records. Pets are only allowed in designated pet rental units and a fee of $50.00 per pet/per stay will be charged per unit. Pets are not welcome in any buildings, the restaurant, pool or beach areas. Guests will be asked to leave if pet becomes disruptive or fails to meet park expectations.
LOST AND FOUND - Items lost or found can be turned into the Lodge.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES - You must be 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages. They must be secured at all times and never left unattended at your site or anywhere on the property. You are not allowed to operate a motor vehicle or golf cart and consume alcohol. It is against the law. Violation of the drinking policy will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.
CIGARETTES - The discarding of cigarette butts can be done in a neat and a safe manner. Please either burn them or discard them in the garbage. Make certain they are completely out first. Please do not drop them under your picnic table, chairs or on your campsite.
WATER - State tested and approved deep artesian well piped through the resort. Public water spigots are located throughout the park (locations are indicated on map).
SPEED LIMIT - For the safety of our guests, especially the children, the resort speed limit is 5 mph. The children are having fun and get very excited; they don’t remember the basic rules of safety and dart in and out very quickly. I Driving privileges of both motorized vehicles and/or golf carts can be revoked for the duration of your stay.
MOTORIZED VEHICLES - All motorized vehicles and Gas golf carts may only be operated by a licensed driver. You must be 16 years or older to operate Golf Carts on property and 21 years to rent a Golf Cart. For safety, we do not allow gas powered scooters, motor bikes, golf carts, miniature electric motor bikes, electric scooters with helmets, and electric hoverboards within the park. This list is not all inclusive and other items may be removed at the park’s discretion.
BICYCLE - Helmets are required for children 14 years old and younger (New York State Law). No bike riding after dark without lights/reflectors. Informing children of helmet rule is the parent or guardian’s responsibility.
POOL - No lifeguard is present. All kids with diapers must wear swim diapers. Pool hours are from 10:00 am till sunset. Children under the age of 18 years of age are not allowed in the pool area without their parents. The pool is swim at your own risk. Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children. No cutoffs or t-shirts in pool, bathing suits only. Swim diapers are required for children that are not potty trained.
REFUNDS - Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore we do not give refunds due to the discomforts of nature, weather or for early departure.
TICKS, ANTS AND BUGS - We are in the mountains and these critters are a reality. Please take all precautions to avoid exposure. When in the wild please protect yourself.
TENTS SITES - Tent camping is allowed on RV Sites throughout the park. Up to two tents allowed per site. There is a maximum limit of six people per site including children. We do not allow group gatherings or more than six people per campfire.
WASTE - NYS has mandatory recycling. Please help by doing your part for our environment. Recycling containers are located by dumpsters up by the main lodge. Trash and Recyling containers can be identified by color; trash containers are blue and recyling containers are green. All non-recyclable trash should be put inside the dumpsters. Clear bags are recommended. Please separate your trash from recyclables. PLEASE put all garbage into the dumpsters located throughout the park. No other items will be picked up (i.e. broken chairs, grills, tents). You will need to take them with you when you depart. Garbage or cans should not be thrown in the fire rings. You will have furry animal visitors overnight if you leave garbage outside! Remember skunks, raccoons, and bears love human food. Once fed they will return for more. Please do your part by throwing your garbage away everyday. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
DISPOSAL - Water is not allowed to drain on the ground from any camping unit. Campers shall not discharge wastewater or sewage in any manner except into the wastewater/sewer connections designated by the campground. Sewer collars required on all full hookup sites. Washing of cars or camping units is not permitted. Ask for directions to the RV wash bay in Warrensburg.
FLAGS AND SIGNS - Flags and signs that display the Confederate flag, politicians, political candidates or contain vulgarity or profanity are not allowed to be displayed at your site or throughout the campground/resort. Customers in violation of this policy will be asked to remove their flag/sign and if they refuse to do so, will be asked to vacate the property.
GENERAL - Be considerate of your neighbors. Do not walk through campsites other than your own. Cutting down trees, shrubs, and/or foliage is prohibited. Help us to keep our restrooms and laundry facilities clean at all times. Report any malfunctions to our staff. Respect our trees. Please do not bend, cut or drive nails into them. Check announcement boards at the office and pool for daily activities schedule. No soliciting of any kind. No clotheslines. No smoking in any building by NYS law. Photos taken of campers while on campground property may be used for promotional materials. Please be mindful of posted wetlands. Lake George Escape has been working diligently with the APA to restore beauty to the area. Please refrain from entering the posted area and respect natural habitats while in the park.
