Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina is family owned and operated since April, 1963. Our park sits on a shady peninsula jutting into the Bush River, a peaceful tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. We sincerely hope that your stay is a pleasant one. Please visit us again soon.

Legacy
Our park was founded in April 1963 by Phil and Joan Schaefer. It started as a day park where guests could come to swim, play, and picnic with family and friends. Over time, we transitioned into a place where campers could spend a few days or longer enjoying our beautiful views and property. As our family grew, so did the love we have for our park as well as the passion to keep the business family owned. We now have 4 generations of campers and boaters who plan to keep Bar Harbor in operation for generations to come!
Campground Guidelines
1. Guests: Your site fee includes 2 people. Additional guests must be registered at the office and paid for BEFORE going to sites. (A MAX of 8 people per site!) Only registered guests are permitted to use the resort and its amenities. Our guest fee is $5.00/day for guests 5 yrs & older.
2. Parking: Each site has ONE space. Never park in open campsites. Additional vehicles must be registered & parked in lot in front of office or back lot.
3. Boats trailers must be registered & stored on the back lot.
4. Swimming: Children may play on the beach. Please DO NOT SWIM in the river. NO LIFEGUARDS.
5. Fishing: Please use one of our three designated fishing piers. There is NO fishing from our main boating pier. A fishing license is required in Maryland for anyone 16 and over.
6. Tents: No tents are permitted on property.
7. Clotheslines: Lines must be attached to your awning supports only. Please do not attach to trees or poles.
8. Bonfires: Fires must be built in fire rings ONLY. Never move the fire ring. No outside firewood may be brought into the park, due to the Emerald Ash Borer. Firewood is available for sale in our store. Fires must be attended at all times.
9. Trespassing: Please do not use any beaches besides those in our park. Please do not walk dogs on neighbors’ property.
10. Back Flow Preventers: The brass fitting on the end of your faucet MUST not be removed. It is required by the Health Department. (It is NOT a pressure reducer.)
11. Washing Trailers/Vehicles: Please, No washing here! Facilities are located in Edgewood and Aberdeen.
12. Trash: Dumpsters are located throughout the campground. WE DO NOT COLLECT TRASH. Please put all trash inside dumpsters.
13. Quiet Hours: 10 PM to 8 AM
14. Laundry Room: Open 9 AM to 9 PM. We are not responsible for theft, loss or damage.
15. Picnic Tables: Do not move picnic tables onto grass or remove table from other sites.
16. Speed Limit is 5 mph throughout the park.
17. Firearms, fireworks, illegal drugs, golf carts & disorderly behavior are strictly prohibited.
18. In the event the National Weather Service recommends taking shelter, the bathhouse & laundry room are recommended, as they are concrete buildings.
19. Charging of electric vehicles is strictly prohibited. Please take vehicle to an authorized charging station.
Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries or loss of property. Management assumes no responsibility for the actions or safety of guests. We reserve the right to add or to change the rules or discontinue service at any time.
Pets
ALL ANIMALS MUST BE:
1. LEASHED AT ALL TIMES AND WELL BEHAVED.
2. Kept inside RV or boat unless owner(s) are outside with them.
3. Walked on the paved surface directly to and from the Dog Park (located at the entrance: see map).
4. Leashed on patio (6’ or less). Never tied to trees, posts, etc. No stakes, pens, or fences. No retractable leashes.
5. QUIET! (No barking, yapping out of windows at passersby).
6. Kept from fouling site or digging holes.
7. Wearing current rabies tags & up to date on all vaccinations.
8. Kept out of all buildings, pool area, piers & beaches. Management has the right to refuse any animal it deems dangerous, uncontrolled by owner, or a threat to our patrons.

Swimming Pool
1. Swim only in the pool!
2. Use of the pool is included in your site fee for all people registered for your site.
3. Please sign in and get wristband daily. All additional guests must be registered and paid for.
4. Please note & abide by the following rules which are posted at the pool:
• Warning! No Lifeguard on duty!
• Swim at your own risk.
• Do not swim alone.
• No children under 14 unless supervised by an adult 18 yrs. & older (2 children per adult)
