GUIDE TO PARK USAGE
To ensure everyone a safe and enjoyable stay, the following policies will be enforced.
• Campsite check-in is 2 pm and check out is NooN. Vacation Cottage check-in is 4 pm and check out is 11 am.
• Quiet Hours are from 11pm to 7 am. We ask all campers to refrain from leaving their site during quiet hours. We do not care how late you stay up to enjoy the evening, but please consider your neighbors. Excessive noise and/or objectionable language will not be tolerated and can be cause for eviction from the resort. Use of bicycles and golf carts are not permitted from 11 pm to 7 am
• Garbage set at the edge of the street between 9 am to 5 pm will get picked up by staff. Due to wildlife, do not leave garbage out overnight.
• One family and one Recreational Vehicle per campsite. Small two-man tents for children approved by a member of Bethpage Staff are permitted. For the safety of guests, only freestanding clotheslines are permitted. Lights or clotheslines may not be strung between trees.
• Observe all posted signs, abide by all resort rules and regulations and comply with all requests and directions given by any staff member.
• As a registered guest, you are responsible for the behavior of all persons occupying or visiting your campsite.
• Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children and their children’s actions.
• Please observe good camping etiquette and be considerate of your fellow campers.
• Campsites are assigned, please do not change campsites without prior approval from the front desk.
• Resort speed limit for all vehicles including golf carts is 10 mph. Speeding and reckless driving will not be tolerated. Golf carts are to yield the right of way to pedestrians, bicyclists, autos, trucks and all motorized resort equipment.
• No children under 16 years of age who do not possess a valid driver’s license (learners’ permits are not acceptable) shall operate any form of motorized vehicle or transport on Camp-Resort property, including golf carts— No one under the age of 18 is authorized to operate Bethpage rental golf carts (regardless if they have a drivers license). Golf carts must have working headlights and rear lights after dark.
• 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, gas scooters, go-carts, hoverboards and mini bikes are not permitted. Licensed over-the-road motorcycles are permitted only for entering or leaving the resort.
• RV, car, golf cart or boat washing is permitted only at the wash station.
• Use of the boat ramp is included in your camping fee. Guests launching their boat should park their boat trailer in the grass area adjacent to the boat ramp. Do not park boats on campsites. Please be considerate of fellow boaters.
• All children under the age of 12 are to wear Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) and must be supervised at all waterfront areas, including the marina and on the docks. Parents/Adults are responsible for supervision of children.
• Cleaning of fish, crabs or other seafood is permitted only at the fish cleaning stations.
• The use of bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, longboards, and other such self-propelled devices, is allowed in the CampResort, except on sidewalks, walkways or in recreation areas. Running, bicycling and use of golf carts are not permitted on docks or in the launch area. Bicycles must have working lights after dark.
• Public display and consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted at the marina, on the docks or at boat slips, playgrounds, pool or beach and any other common area, or while operating any motorized vehicle within the Resort boundaries. (Please, do not drink and drive).
• Bethpage Camp-Resort is a family resort and public profanity, intoxication and being a nuisance will not be tolerated.
• Smoking is not permitted in any buildings or in the pool and water park complex. Please dispose of all smoking butts in the appropriate receptacles located throughout the resort.
• Firecrackers, fireworks, or explosives are not permitted at any time, including the Fourth of July.
• Firearms, bows and arrows, slingshots and air guns are not permitted.
• Campfires are permitted and must be contained in a fire pit, attended to at all times and comply with any restrictions imposed by state or local authorities.
• Only US, national, state, territorial, military, sports and decorative flags may be flown. Political flags or Confederate flags may not be displayed. Flags, regardless of type, are not permitted on golf carts.
Bethpage Camp-Resort is a privately owned facility and as such, management reserves the right to control access to the property and to remove any registered or unregistered guests or visitors whose continued presence is considered, to the sole opinion of management, to be detrimental or disruptive.
YOUR GUIDE TO CAMPGROUND ETIQUETTE
Observe check-In/out times. Arrive at or after check-in time and leave before check-out time.
Respect your neighbors. Do not walk through other campsites and keep all items on your site.
Be mindful of your noise level. Keep all noise at a decent level at all times.
Observe Quiet Times. Keep noise level of talking, children and pets low and music off during posted quiet hours.
Go the speed limit. Observe the speed limit at all times and be aware of people, children and pets while driving.
Mind your campfire. Check to be sure that campfires are allowed and never leave it unattended.
Keep a tidy campsite. Pick up all food and garbage throughout the day and clean and organize site at end of the night.
Keep all facilities clean. Pick up after yourself and report any spills or broken equipment immediately.
Be a responsible pet owner. Keep your pets leashed and in your control at all times and always pick up after your dog.
Follow all campground rules. Be aware of all campground rules to ensure that everyone enjoys their time and stays safe.
