PARK ETIQUETTE AND RULES

• Hours: Open 8:00 am to dusk.

• Registration: is for ONE family camping unit and ONE vehicle.

• Check-In: starts at 1:00 pm. Earlier check-in may be available for an additional fee.

• Check-Out: 11:30 am. If you wish to stay longer, you must re-register by 10:00 am. If site is available, a fee is charged.

Visitors and Car Passes

EVERY car MUST have a car pass. Visitors are subject to a visitors fee and MUST park at front of office. All visitors will need to stop in at the office before entering the campground, and they are only allowed to stay until 10:00 pm. Policy is strictly enforced. Please see the front desk for details.

• Pets: Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome. Pets must be leashed at all times for their safety, with a leash no longer than 6 feet. Pets cannot be left unattended on any part of the campground, especially the cabins. Pets are not allowed at the playground or pool for safety reasons. Please clean up after your dog. Deposit bins are located around the park for your convenience.

• Pool: NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! Swim at your own risk. No children under 16 in pool area without an adult. We do NOT allow food of any kind in the pool area. NO GLASS containers. Plastic Water Bottles ONLY.

• Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Courtesy is contagious. Generators are not permitted. Music and friendly gatherings must be kept at your campsite for only YOU to enjoy.

• Campfires: allowed at your campsite, must be in a provided fire ring. No burning of trash is allowed. Never leave fires unattended, for your safety and others. Firewood is available at office. No cutting of our property for your firewood is permitted. There will be a fine for cutting our trees.

• Washing and Mechanical Maintenance on any vehicle or camper is NOT permitted in the Campground.

• No Mechanical Repairs to vehicles or RVs are permitted.

• Please use laundry room sink for washing your dishes, not the bathroom sinks.

• Garbage: We do not have site pick up. Dumpster is located near the front office for your convenience.

• Picnic tables cannot be moved from another site, one table per site ONLY.

• Firearms, Bows/Arrows, Slingshots, Explosives and Fireworks are not permitted.

• Off-Road Vehicles of any type are not permitted for use in campground. Golf carts are allowed as long as an adult is the driver.

• Speed Limit is 5 mph. Please observe this! Children at play.

• Dump Station: is provided for our registered campers only. Dumping of grey water on the ground is a violation of the Tennessee Health Department regulations.

• Dry Storage: Available, see office for more information.

• Cabins: We do not allow cooking in our Camping cabins. Grills are provided for your use. Cooking is allowed in our Deluxe Cabin. Do not leave dogs unattended at any time. If using heater/air, please keep doors and windows closed. It helps keep everyone’s cost down. Leave indoor furniture indoors. Do not remove chairs and take them outside.

• Mail and Messages: We are happy to receive your mail, just make sure your site number is listed with your full name.

• Store: Our camp store opens at 8:00 am almost every day. We try to carry a good variety of items for you to choose from.

• Tenting: Each tenting site is for one family, one tent and one vehicle. Do not move picnic tables from another site. If you select a site that is not near electric you cannot use extension cords to achieve electric connection.

• RV: Maps are provided for you for directions to and from your site and exiting. Please use caution when traveling in our park. Septic fields and other utilities are located in the areas where we do not allow you to drive.

• Extended Stay Guests: are subject to additional regulations. We have a copy for you at the front office. Management of the Chattanooga North KOA Journey is not responsible for damage, injury or loss by accident, theft or fire to either the property or person of a camper or their guest. This is a privately owned property and management reserves the right to evict anyone violating our rules of good camping, destroying property or creating a disturbance, without refund. Please help us make everyone’s stay pleasant.

Septic Tanks

Only human waste, one-ply toilet tissue, shower water, kitchen and sink water are to be flushed or dumped. NO FOREIGN ITEMS ARE TO BE FLUSHED IN SEPTIC TANK! No paper towels, handy wipes, cigarette butts, etc. NO WASHERS.
