Campground

Cherokee Dam Campground is located in Jefferson City, TN, on the upstream south side of the TVA Cherokee Dam. Adjacent to the campground is Cherokee Lake where there is a large public boat ramp, a day use, and swimming area with picnic tables and a pavilion.

The campground has a total of 44 camp sites. All RV sites have electric and water, and 4 campsites meet ADA guidelines. Nearly every campsite in the campground has a view of the beautiful lake and mountains. The entry roads into the campground are paved, and most campsites are level with gravel parking pads. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit/grill. The campground bathhouse has warm showers and flush toilets.
