COACHLAND BE BEAR AWARE It may still look like winter in much of Truckee, but spring has arrived in one important way: bears have started emerging from their dens and they are hungry. While here at Coachland please: • Secure your food and garbage. Put your trash in our dumpsters. Never leave trash outside of your RV or in your car. • Clean up your picnic area after eating to avoid attracting a bear. Clean and store your BBQ grill. • Do not leave small dog or dog food outside your RV. • We suggest disposing of your trash before dark. • Do not engage with a bear. Walk away slowly. Bears may be defensive when people get too close.
