Resort Guidelines
• Danger Areas: Please keep children away from these areas! There are drop-offs behind the patio, swimming pool, deck, cabins, private residence and chapel.
• Motorhomes must use pads or blocks under jacks See the office if you need blocks
• Speed Limit: 5 MPH
• Check-in Time: 12 pm
• Check-out Time: 11 am
• Quiet Time: 10 pm to 8 am
• Guests: ALL guests must register with the office There is a $10 00 charge per person per day for guests staying overnight or for day use of park facilities from age 6 and up . Guests may not park in empty sites; they MUST park by the office
• Pets: No aggressive or constantly barking dogs allowed. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets are not allowed in any park buildings, with the exception of the office . Owners MUST pick up after pets, including in the orchard . DO NOT walk your dog in or through others’ RV sites DO NOT leave dogs tied up outside when you are not home or overnight DO NOT walk in the orchard when deer are present DO NOT walk your dog or let it run loose inside the fenced area around the clubhouse NO keeping of your pets in outside pens, kennels or RV storage compartments allowed. (DO NOT MESS WITH FAWNS IN THE ORCHARD. Keep dogs back.)
• Children must be supervised at all times by an adult. The playground is for those age 12 and under Children under 18 are not allowed in any building without adult supervision at any time
• Grills: DO NOT place grills on top of picnic tables or RV pads . Place on the ground with a grease catcher or table under the grill A can is provided on the porch at the office for your cold ashes.
It is your responsibility to read and abide by these rules and regulations at all times. No fireworks, firearms, illegal activities or drunkenness allowed at any time.
• Trash: Tie securely and put in front of your site by 10 am for pickup If you miss pickup, you can take it to the blue dumpster at the end of Western Town Do not leave trash out overnight. We recycle aluminum cans Please put your cans in a separate bag to be picked up, or put them in the can marked “Aluminum Cans” on the porch of the office
• Sewer: NO direct drop into sewer; MUST use a donut or elbow It is MANDATORY to use formaldehyde-free chemicals
• Electricity at Weekly-Monthly RV Sites: Weekly and Monthly RV Sites pay Electric
• Restrooms/Showers: If you do not have your own shower facility, you may use ours located behind the laundry room .
• Fishing is catch and release only. We prefer you use barbless hooks . If you use a hook with barbs, and it is caught in the fish, PLEASE cut the line You must stay within the fishing area NO fishing from the overlook deck
• Laundry Room: DO NOT wash animal linens in washers or dry in dryers DO NOT hang wet clothes/towels on the outside of your rig . Outside clotheslines are not permitted
• Creek: SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. CAUTION NO LIFEGUARD IS PRESENT! Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. The creek has deep areas While at the creek, you must stay in the resort area; do not go past the rapids; DO NOT go onto the white rock island; walk along the edge; DO NOT drive vehicles across the creek; DO NOT cross the white rope for any reason — you will be trespassing! For safety reasons, no glass is permitted at the creek Please remove your trash when leaving the creek area
• Seasonal Swimming Pool: SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK! NO LIFEGUARDS ARE PRESENT! Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. The pool is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend You must wear swimwear and shower before entering the pool. Pool hours are 10 am until dusk Please use the pool side restrooms ONLY! NO running or horseplay is permitted . NO coolers, glass or alcohol are permitted in the pool area
• Rugs: NO RUGS OR STEPPING STONES ALLOWED on the grassy areas, including breathable rugs
• Shelters & Wind: Because of the danger; screen houses, “pop-up” shades, “EZ” shelters, and sun umbrellas could get caught up by the wind . These are not allowed to be erected at Johnson Creek RV Resort and Park
• Clubhouse / Western Town / Chapel are closed for rallies, weddings, reunions, etc . No personal cooking is allowed in the kitchens Rules are posted in the Clubhouse and Western Town
• No Rig or Vehicle Washing Allowed UNLESS by a Mobile Washing Company See Guest Guide for recommendations
• Trees: Do not tie or nail any item to the trees. This is a working pecan orchard During harvest, you may pick up nuts in your site only
• Occupied Sites: Be considerate of fellow RVers Keep your site clean, neat and picked up DO NOT cross or walk through other sites Your yard is on your door side; DO NOT place items in the yard behind you or past your RV connections . NO yard ornaments, as they make mowing difficult Be considerate and turn off your porch lights when retiring
• Accessory Vehicles: No 4-wheelers Golf carts are allowed with proof of insurance and a signed waiver Motorcycles are for riding in and out of the park only Accessory vehicles must fit on the site and not in the yard
• Horses: Feed carrots and apples; keep hands open and flat Horses are not responsible for any injury .
Under Texas law, JCRV is not responsible for any accident or injury to your person or property during your stay.
Wi-Fi Instructions Winter Freeze
We provide free limited basic Wi-Fi, which is good for emails, shopping and surfing the Internet. We are in the country, where our service is a co-op and it’s all that is available. For any extensive internet experience, you will need to use your own hot spot.
If temperatures are forecast 25 degrees or below, the park will shut off the water at 10pm. TAKE ALL PRECAUTIONS to prevent freezing of hydrant, faucets, hoses & spigots at your site. A $65 charge will be applied for freezing damage. Fill holding tanks ahead of time. DO NOT DRIP WATER AT NIGHT.
