PARK RULES

(For Your Safety and Mutual Enjoyment)

REGISTRATION:

• All guests, visitors, and pets must be registered - two vehicles and one camping unit per site. RV site maximum 6 people. Visitors are not allowed to bring pets.

• All vessels and vehicles not registered are subject to towing at owner’s expense. There is no charge for registered guests to use boat ramp. Boats may not be parked on site without park approval.

• Vehicle pass must be displayed at all times.

• Check-out time is 12 noon.

• Check-In time 1 p.m No arrivals allowed after 10pm.

• Management assumes no responsibility for the actions or safety of guests or their belongings and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, eject anyone for creating a disturbance or violating park rules and/ or state and local laws.

• All visitors must register at office.

• Anything with wheels must have lights on at night. Per Florida law, children under 16 must wear a helmet.

NOT PERMITTED:

• Excessive noise at any timeQuiet hours 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Children 17 and under must be on site from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., unless with an adult

• Taking lobster from shore of The Jolly Roger without park approval

• Swimming in the boat harbor or around dock

• Diving from seawall, dock

• Wood, ground fires or fireworks, only propane fire pits

• No grills or open flames of any kind in pavilion

• Portable grills of any kind on picnic tables

• Golf carts, bicycles, roller blades or skateboards, Hoverboards, etc., on dock, pavilion or seawall (anything with wheels must have lights on at night)

• Excessive speed (Park Limit 5mph)

• Rowdiness or disorderly conduct

• Parking at pavilion, unloading zone only

• Wasting of water or washing of vehicles

• Firearms on property

• Outside washers, dryers, showers or toilets.

• Generators

• Walking through vacant or occupied sites

• Outside Pools/Hot Tubs of any sort

• Anything attached to tree, fence or power post (clothesline or hammock)

• Carpets / RV Mats on ground - On Patio Only

• Outside sinks must be plumbed into sewer

• The following flags, banners, and/or signs may be displayed on RVs, vehicles, and/or sites: American Flags, state flags, sport themed and team flags, pet flags, and beverage flags; all must be in clean and untattered condition. No other flags, banners, and/ or signs may be displayed. NO Political Flags of any kind. No Flags with offensive or disparaging images or statements

• No fishing/netting on Tiki Island or in swim/snorkel area.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES:

• Joyriding of motorcycles, mini-bikes, motorized vehicles, golf carts, electric bikes or scooters is not permitted on the resort property.

• Personal golf carts are permitted but can only be driven by guest over the age of 16 with a driver’s license.

• Golf carts must be insured and registered with the office.

• Children are not permitted to drive rented or personal golf carts on the property.

• Electric golf carts only. Gas golf carts are not allowed.

PETS:

TWO PETS PERMITTED

1 . Pet must be on a max 6’ leash at all times.

2. Use pet walk area and immediately clean up after your pet everywhere in campground including dog walk areas.

3. Pet is never to be left outside unattended.

4. Pets must be attended by an adult.

5. Pets are not allowed in Tiki Island, efficiencies, restrooms, laundry room, in or around the pool areas.

Our natural resource is the waterfront. Trees, shrubs and wildlife are our greatest assets. Please leave them as you found them so that those who follow can enjoy the best of the Keys.

RECREATIONAL SALTWATER LICENSES & PERMITS

Before purchasing recreational fishing licenses and permits, please verify all requirements based on activity.

Licenses and permits are available online at GoOutdoorsFlorida.com, in person at a license agent or tax collector’s office or by calling toll-free 888-FISH-FLORIDA (888-347-4356).

Check what qualifies for Florida residency and if you are eligible for exemptions.

All anglers (including those 65 and older) who intend to fish for or harvest certain reef fish from a private vessel in Florida are required to obtain the State Reef Fish Angler designation.

A Florida fishing license is required to land saltwater species in Florida regardless of where they are caught (state or federal waters).

BOAT RAMP AREA

• Slips F1-F5: 30ft or less, BOW OUT Cross Tie - 6 ropes minimum.

• Slips I-15 to I-18: 25ft or less BOW IN, 4 ropes minimum.

• Slips I-13 & I-14: 20ft or less BOW IN, 4 ropes minimum.

• Slips I-5 to I-7: 25ft or less BOW IN, 4 ropes minimum.

• Slips I-8 & I-9: 20ft or less BOW IN, 4 ropes minimum.

HARBOR BOAT SLIPS

• 25ft or less including motor

• Must have at minimum of 2 bumpers and 2 ropes

• Slip B11 must have 3 bumpers and 3 ropes (not protected)

• Slip B4 is for at boats only

• Slip B5 is 20ft or less including motor.

MARINA GUIDELINES

1. Be courteous and respectful of other boaters.

2. All vessels must belong to a registered guest, and will receive a label tag from the office.

3. Be sure to provide the Jolly Roger office with up-to-date contact information.

4. Secure your boat in the slip assigned to you (do not borrow, lend, or use another).

5. No parking in boat harbor / pavilion area.

6. Wake zone extends out 100 feet from dock.

7. Do not fish, net, swim, dive, or spear in the boat harbor.

8. Jet-skis are not allowed in marina slips or tied to the dock. They must be tied to the Jet-ski buoys only, and cannot be left in the water overnight.

9. Boats can only be washed at the designated station, not on a site.

10. Boats should not be left unattended at the boat launch.

11. Jolly Roger RV Resort reserves the right to take appropriate measures for any unauthorized boats, trailers, etc.

12. All slip renters are required to sign the full set of Marina Rules and Guidelines.

13. No Fishing of any kind in the swim and snorkel area.

Non-residents who are 16 years of age or older are required to have Florida licenses and permits to participate in hunting, freshwater fishing and saltwater fishing.

• Out-of-state fishing and hunting licenses are not valid in Florida.

• A fishing license is required to attempt to take fish. If you cast a line or catch and release, you need a license.

• A saltwater fishing license is required to attempt to take any native or nonnative marine organisms, such as crabs, lobsters, and marine plants.

• Visitors who are listed on the National Saltwater Angler Registry are still required to have a Florida recreational saltwater fishing license unless they are a member of one of the exempted groups listed.

• Non-residents using beach or haul seines for recreational purposes are required to have a commercial saltwater products license.

• Children under 16 years of age do not need recreational licenses and permits in Florida.

A saltwater fishing license and permits are not required if:

• You fish from a for-hire vessel (guide, charter, party boat) that has a valid charter license.

• You fish from a vessel whose operator has a valid recreational saltwater vessel license issued in the name of the operator of the vessel.

• You are fishing during a free saltwater fishing day.

• You fish from a pier with a valid saltwater pier license. You have a valid saltwater products license or FWC charter captain license (does not apply to charter boat license or U.S. Coast Guard license).

* These exceptions do not apply to tarpon tags.
