Old River Road Guidelines for an Enjoyable Stay

We at Old River Road RV Resort welcome all visitors and consider our guests as members of our extended family. The following rules are designed to ensure that all guests have a quiet, pleasant and relaxing visit.

• Visitors are required to check in at the front office before entering the park. Our rates reflect 2 people per site. Each additional person is $7.00 per person per day.

• The Speed limit in the park is 6.5 mph. Please be aware of pedestrians and animals in the roadways.

• Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.

• Check-In time for RVs is 12:00 noon. Checkout time: 12:00 noon.

• If you plan on staying longer, the sooner we know, the better your chances of keeping your current site. (Please note: we cannot always guarantee that you will be able to keep the same site due to previous reservations).

• Check-In time for Cabins is 2:00 pm Checkout time is 11:00 am. No late check out is available on our cabins.

• Curb-side Trash Pickup: Out by 10:00 am

• No loaded firearms, lethal weapons, pellet, BB guns, or fireworks are allowed on the property.

• No open fires. Any and all fires must be contained to the BBQ grill or Fire pit.

• A sewer hose (rubber donut or threaded connector) is REQUIRED on all sewer hookups.

• Mats, area rugs, etc. (anything that can possibly leave dead areas on the lawn) are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstance. This includes breathable mats.

• Please Obey all posted notices and signs.

• NO SMOKING in any buildings. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground, including at your site or cabin area.

• No parking on the lawn or in roadways. If there is not enough room to park in your site, you may use the parking area near the pool and front office.

• Site must be kept free of trash, rubbish, toys, equipment and other possessions.

• No trimming or wood gathering from trees. We do have firewood bundles available for purchase at the Front Porch.

• Absolutely No ATVs, UTVs, Go Carts or 4-Wheelers allowed without written permission from the manager.

Management reserves the right to evict or refuse entry to any person who has evidenced a disregard for the rules, without a refund. Guests and their visitors agree to use the campground at their own risk. The management and owners are not responsible for damage, injury or loss to persons, pets or property. We reserve the right to make changes to the rules, regulations and fees that we deem necessary.

ACCORDING TO TEXAS PENAL CODE SECTION 30.05, a person commits an offense if the person enters or remains on or in property of another, including a recreational vehicle park, without effective consent and the person had notice that the entry was forbidden, or received notice to depart but failed to do so. That is, any guest who receives notice to leave and refuses to do so may be subject to criminal prosecution. If we ask you to leave, you must vacate Campground’s property. We will prosecute any violations under the “CRIMINAL TRESPASS LAW.”

Pet Etiquette

Do not walk your dog in or through others’ RV sites.

No aggressive or constantly barking dogs allowed.

No pets allowed in any of the community buildings with the exception of the office.
