The following guidelines are intended for your family’s safety and everyone’s enjoyment. If you have any questions, please ask any of the campground staff. Thank you. Everyone must conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb their fellow campers and guests nor disturb the harmony of the campground . Otherwise, you may be asked to leave .
• Please observe all posted signs.
• PERSONAL PROPERTY: Thousand Trails is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal property.
• CAMPGROUND PROPERTY: Anyone who willfully or negligently defaces, injures or destroys property or equipment of Pine Country RV Campground will be liable for the full value thereof. The cutting of trees is prohibited.
• SPEED LIMIT is 10 MPH on all campground roads.
• PETS: Must be on a leash at all times. You must CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET. Noisy, vicious or unruly pets may be asked to leave the campground.
• WASHING of cars and RVs is prohibited.
• GUESTS must pay a fee of $5 for the day or $10 overnight.
• BICYCLES may be ridden during daylight hours only.
• CLOTHESLINES or lines run between trees and vehicles are prohibited.
• QUIET HOURS are 11 pm to 8 am. Minors (under 18 years of age) must be accompanied by an adult if they leave their site during quiet hours.
• CAMPSITES: No more than two motor vehicles allowed per site. Other vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas. Fires are permitted in designated fire rings or areas designated by the Manager. Fire rings and picnic tables are not to be removed from one location or another. Pine Country RV Campground may prohibit fires at times when they present a hazard. Please respect others by not walking through other occupied campsites.
• SOLICITATION or advertising for solicitation of any kind is prohibited without written consent of Pine Country RV Campground.
• North Central Illinois can have severe weather this time of year. We are located in Boone County.
• A THUNDERSTORM WATCH means conditions are favorable for a severe thunderstorm.
• If a TORNADO WARNING is issued for Boone County, take cover immediately!
• A TORNADO WATCH means conditions are favorable for a tornado.
• A THUNDERSTORM WARNING means a severe thunderstorm is probable with dangerous lightning, winds and possibly hail.
• If you have any questions, please ask operations staff for assistance.
• FIREARMS, MOPEDS, MINIBIKES, AND THREE/FOUR WHEELERS ARE PROHIBITED.
• ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES must be in a concealed container at all times.
• PROPANE may be purchased in the campground 11 am to 4:30 pm. See store personnel for details.
• TRASH: Please use dumpsters located throughout the campground.
• NO SKATEBOARDS, ELECTRIC SKATEBOARDS OR SCOOTERS ARE PERMITTED.
• FLAGS AND SIGNS that display the Confederate flag, politicians, political candidates or contain vulgarity or profanity are not allowed to be displayed at your site or throughout the Resort. Customers in violation of this policy will be asked to remove their flag/sign and if they refuse to do so, will be asked to vacate the Resort.
• HOURS: 10 am to 8 pm
• NO lifeguard on duty. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years or older).
• NO food, glass or alcohol is permitted.
• NO running, jumping, diving or horseplay allowed.
• NO swimming alone is permitted.
• NO cut-offs, colored T-shirts or street clothing is allowed in the pool.
• NO recreation equipment or toys allowed in the pool except during scheduled recreation activities.
• DIAPERS may be worn under Little Swimmers.
• Do not jump the fence.
• Belvidere has been designated as the “Illinois City of Murals.” There are 15 historic murals along the streets of the downtown area.
• Pettit Memorial Chapel, 1121 North Main Street, Belvidere. Take a free self-guided tour. This chapel, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, was built in 1907 and is located in the Belvidere Cemetery. The tour also includes visits to the graves of two Revolutionary War veterans, a Confederate soldier, and two Civil War generals.
• Belvidere Park is situated on the Kishwaukee River. This is a nice place for a stroll along the 1.5-mile Kishwaukee Riverfront Recreation Path. There are also picnic shelters, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts and playground equipment.

• Boone County Fairgrounds has events every weekend throughout the summer. The Boone County Fair occurs in early August. Call (815) 544-4066 for information.
• Illinois Train Museum, located in Union, IL, off Route 20. Call (800) BIG-RAIL for scheduled events.
• Spencer Park and Nature Center are both located on Appleton Road. The park has paved and dirt walking and bicycling trails. The Nature Center has a paved walking path connecting two log cabins and multiple specialty gardens. The annual Autumn Pioneer Festival is held the fourth weekend of September.
