Scotrun Policies and Procedures

CHECK-OUT for Rental units and Vacation Cabins is 11 am and for RV Sites is 12 pm. For campsites, a check-out time may be enforced during peak periods .

SPEED LIMIT: 10 MPH

QUIET HOURS: Please observe our quiet hours from 11 pm to 7 am. All minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent during these hours. Please keep in mind that sound carries outdoors, and your neighbor may not want to hear your favorite radio station or TV show.

BICYCLES: Mopeds, scooters, and bikes are allowed as long as they are not gas powered . For the safety of riders and members, please do not ride after dusk Riding is permitted only during daylight hours . Helmets are strongly recommended Children 12 and under must wear a helmet.

PETS: Pets are not permitted in buildings or pools All pets must be kept on a leash Pets are not permitted in buildings or pools. Pets must accompany their owner when leaving a campsite or trailer Please clean up after your pets.

PICNIC TABLES: Do not move picnic tables from one site to another.

CAMPFIRES: Use designated area only . Fire ring must be at least 12 feet from your unit and any other structure. One fire ring per site. This means you may not stack fire rings. The flame of your fire cannot extend 3 feet above the rim and must be attended by an adult at all times. Moving of fire rings is prohibited. Extinguish your fire 100% with water before you leave. PLEASE OBSERVE CAMPFIRE RULES AND ANY LOCAL BURNING REGULATIONS OR RESTRICTIONS BASED ON WEATHER OR CLIMATIC CONDITIONS.

VEHICLES: Only two vehicles per site are allowed. Other vehicles may be kept in parking areas throughout the campground, for an additional fee. Vehicles may not be used to “save” a campsite for someone else.

TRASH POLICY: There are dumpsters located down from the Welcome Center by the basketball court for your convenience Please take all trash and trash bags to these dumpsters Trash cans throughout the park are for small trash items only .

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Alcoholic beverages (where permitted) must be kept in cooler or a concealed container.

CHAIN SAWS, TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: High powered tools or equipment are not permitted Cutting shrubs or trees is not permitted.

WALKING THROUGH SITES: Walking through any site is prohibited

VISITORS: Visitors must register and receive a car pass. If members are expecting visitors, guest cards are required . Total occupancy on any site may not exceed 10 people, including temporary visitors.

SUPERVISION OF CHILDREN: Children 12 years old and younger must not be left at the resort without the presence of a responsible person 16 years or older.

RECREATION RULES: Please observe all swimming, boating and recreation equipment rules.

RVs MAY NOT BE LEFT UNOCCUPIED OVERNIGHT.

ELECTRICAL CORDS may not be run across roadways.

CLOTHESLINES are allowed as long as they are visible and are used for appropriate items.
