Your campsite here is only 1.5 miles to downtown Estes Park and just 5 miles from the beginning of the soaring alpine landscape of Rocky Mountain National Park. This campground is a great setting for marshmallow roasts, ice cream socials and blueberry pancake breakfasts through much of the summer. While here, we hope you allow enough time to enjoy our many wonderful Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park points of interest. We recommend that you place Trail Ridge Road and The Stanley Hotel at the top of your “See & Do” list. Have any questions or needs? Just ask any of our staff. We are here to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.

Why Not Stay Another Day? ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK - Just 5 miles from the KOA are the two eastern entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. This 415-square mile Park will be the highlight of your Estes Park visit. The Trail Ridge Road offers you breathtaking views as you drive the highest paved highway in the country to 12,183 feet, crossing alpine tundra, providing panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy elk, bighorn sheep, moose and other wildlife; bring your camera, a picnic lunch and hiking shoes for a full range of hiking experiences.
STANLEY HOTEL - Aside from being known today for its inspirational role in Stephen King’s novel “The Shining,” the Hotel is known for its architecture, magnificent setting and famous visitors. Tours require reservations. GLEN HAVEN - For an interesting side trip take the Devils Gulch Road, to North of Estes Park. The road itself is a real “twister” with hairpin curves. Visit the village of Glen Haven and stop by the Glen Haven General Store. If you would like more information or directions to any of these attractions, please stop by the Office. Our staff will be happy to help you.
OLD FALL RIVER ROAD - The road is typically open from July 1st to late September. You’ll discover many beautiful places to stop for a picnic and take photos. Take time to visit the Alpine Visitor Center.

Rover’s Pet Policy • I want my owner to be with me at all times. I don’t like being left alone and certainly not in a Camping Cabin or Deluxe Cottage. • There is doggie day care at the Pet Lodge kennel if you can’t take me with you. • I hate barking dogs, so please keep those hounds quiet. • Take me to the Pet Walk or K-9 Park; there are great smells there. • I feel more secure and get into less trouble on a shorter leash ... say 6'. • I do not like going into any Campground buildings (store, restrooms, laundry, etc.). • Please follow my rules or I might just drag you down the road to some other place; maybe even without stopping to get a refund.
