GUIDELINES FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY & ENJOYMENT
Please review the following guidelines with members of your party so that everyone has a safe and fun stay at our campground.
No pets, no smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted in public places.
• Check-In: 1:00 pm
• Check-Out: 11:00 am; additional fees will apply after check-out time.
• Quiet Time: 10:00 pm to 7:00 am Sunday through Thursday; 11:00 pm Fri and Sat
• No refunds are offered for early departures or ejections.
• Speed Limit: 5 MPH, throughout the entire park
• Parking: Observe all parking signs, and DO NOT park on grass or empty sites. Parking passes must be displayed at all times while on park property. Failure to do so may result in being towed at owner’s expense. Improperly parked, broken down, or inoperable vehicles may also be towed.
• Swimming Pool: No lifeguard is on duty; swim at your own risk. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Swim diapers are required per Georgia law for ages 2 and under. Swim diapers are also required for anyone not toilet trained. Ask for assistance in using the handicap lift. No glass, pets, smoking, vaping, or tobacco products of any kind are allowed in the pool area. No food is permitted in the pool.
• Gate Codes: Gate codes are for registered guests only and may not be given out or shared with anyone, including visitors or delivery drivers.
• Sites: All sites must be kept clean, free of clutter, pet debris, cigarette butts and other trash. No free-standing canopies, tents, fencing or other structures are permitted. Clotheslines and hanging things from park landscaping are not permitted.
• Pets: Pets must be leashed at all times when outside your RV, per city ordinance. Pets may never be left unattended outside. No fencing, runs, or staking is allowed at your site. Pets are not allowed in the pool area or buildings. Aggressive behavior from any pet will result in that pet being asked to leave the park. You must pick up after your pet. Failure to do so can result in fines or expulsion from the park. Proof of current vaccinations must be presented upon request. Use of resort dog parks is at your own risk.
• Garbage: Please put all trash in the appropriate receptacle. Placing trash outside the receptacle may result in fines. Household bagged trash only. No dumping of appliances, mattresses, batteries, hazardous materials (including motor oil), or other large items. Dumpster locations are marked on the park map at left. Do not leave trash bags out overnight or at your site.
• Fire Rings & Grills: Do not move fire rings or grills. No burning of trash, pet waste bags, cigarette butts or any other items other than approved firewood. No unattended fires. No personal fire rings, pits or other devices may be placed on the grass or on park furniture. Guest is responsible for any damages to park property caused by placing fire devices on park property.
• Firewood: In compliance with the USDA and the Georgia Forestry Commission, bringing firewood into the park from out of state is prohibited, due to the devastation of transporting destructive foreign pests. Firewood is for sale in the office.
• Visitors: Registered guests may have a limited number of visitors at their site only. Visitors must stop and check in at the office and obtain a car pass. If a visitor wants to use any of the amenities, a visitor pass must be purchased at the time of entry. Guests are responsible for their visitors’ actions, and all visitors must leave by quiet hours. We reserve the right to deny visitors based on park capacity.
• Golf Carts: Personal, electric-only golf carts are allowed but must be declared at the time of booking. Proof of insurance must be provided, and applicable fees must be paid prior to operating your cart on park property. All golf cart rules must be followed.
• Not Permitted: The following are strictly prohibited and may result in ejection from the park. No refunds are given for early departures due to ejection. No open containers of alcohol; no smoking or vaping in park buildings; no fireworks, no open carry of firearms; no loud music from your site or vehicle; no drunken or disorderly conduct; no gas-powered carts, 4-wheelers, or other off-road vehicles; no on-site vehicle repairs; no mail accepted; no soliciting; and absolutely no illegal substances are allowed.
• Conduct: Forsyth KOA Journey is a family friendly park, and we want everyone to enjoy their stay. Therefore, no obscenities, offensive language, or other disruptive behavior, actions or activities are allowed in the park at any time. Management reserves the right to determine these actions and act accordingly. No refund will be provided for early departures. If ejected, no refunds will be given.
• ALL SEWER HOSES MUST HAVE A SEWER RING OR ELBOW AND BE SUPPORTED OFF THE GROUND, PER CITY ORDINANCE. By making a reservation and staying on the property, you agree to abide and follow the above rules and policies. Please observe and obey all signs and postings displayed throughout the park, and be considerate of other campers. Violation of these rules and policies could result of loss of privileges, fines and up to and including ejection from the park. Forsyth KOA Journey reserves the right to alter, change or modify any of these rules and policies at any time, whether written or verbal. Management’s decision in all disputes is deemed final.
