Guidelines for an Enjoyable Stay Thank you for staying with us at the Junction North Llano River RV Park. As a registered guest in our park we ask that you respect your camping neighbor and abide by these guidelines/rules.
RV PARK:
➢ All guests and visitors must register at the Office upon arrival. ➢ Quiet time is 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Please be considerate of your neighbors. No loud music at any time. ➢ Check out time is 11 a.m. CST. Please inform office if a late check-out is needed. A fee may be charged. ➢ For the safety of all guests, the speed limit on the park is less than 5 MPH and is strictly enforced. ➢ Please help us by not parking in empty RV sites, on the grass or along the road in front of other sites. All roads must be kept clear for large rigs to maneuver easily. If extra parking is needed it will be assigned to you by management upon arrival. Extra parking for laundry/showers/restrooms and pool is located behind the main building. ➢ Please do not dispose cigarette butts in the fire pits or on the ground. A clean-up fee may be charged. ➢ Our water is often in short supply. Repair outdoor leaks as soon as you can. Dripping faucets or hoses will be shut off. No RV or car washing allowed. You may use a bucket of water to wipe your windshield. Please ask Office for local car/RV washing locations. ➢ The laundry/showers/restroom facilities are open 24/7 except during cleaning. Parking for laundry/ showers/restroom or the pool is located behind the main building. Please do not block the main driveway under any circumstances. ➢ Propane is available at the campground. Please inquire at the office. ➢ We do not allow oil changes or major repairs to be done on-site.
Page 6
➢ In case of bad weather, please seek shelter in the Restrooms. The local weather can be found on cable channel 9. Junction is located in Kimble County. The wind in West Texas can change in minutes from a gentle breeze to gale strength. We strongly recommend that you never leave your awning extended or your TV antenna up when you are not in the park. For TXDOT Road Conditions please call 800-452-9292. ➢ After Hours Phone: 325-446-6623 (for emergencies only please)
PETS: We know you love your pets but others
may not. Pets must be kept on a leash and cannot be left unattended unless inside your RV with all doors and windows closed. Excessive barking or aggressive behavior is not permitted. All pet litter must be picked up immediately. (A clean-up fee may be applied to your site). A fenced pet area is provided near site #25 (NW corner) for your pet’s off-leash enjoyment. Sorry, pets are not permitted in the office, restrooms, laundry or pool areas.
POOL: Pool hours are posted near the entrance
to the pool. There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim in the river and the pool at your own risk. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No glass containers or pets are allowed inside pool area. Please shower before entering the pool if you have enjoyed the river. The river water will contaminate our pool with algae and bacteria. Additional pool rules and regulations are posted at the pool area and these must be obeyed at all times.
Blatant disregard of the guidelines and/or offensive behavior may result in the premature termination of your stay with no refund. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. We do hope your stay with us is enjoyable and relaxing. Please let us know if you notice any areas that need our attention. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be held responsible for personal injury, loss by fire, theft or other means, to personal property or vehicles. ~The Staff & Management of Junction North Llano River RV Park

Just a few places to visit while you’re here... Texas Tech University Campus
The site was used for summer training of the Aggie football team under Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant. The “Junction Boys” is the name given to the “survivors” of Bryant’s 10-day summer football camp beginning September 1, 1954.
Ft. McKavett - State Historic Site
Originally called Camp San Saba because it overlooks the headwaters of the San Saba River Valley, it was established by five companies of the Eighth Infantry in March of 1852 to protect frontier settlers and travelers on Upper El Paso Road. The camp was later renamed for Capt. Henry McKavett, killed at the battle of Monterey on September 21, 1846. The fort was abandoned March 1859 and reoccupied April 1868. Fort McKavett was once called by General William T. Sherman “the prettiest post in Texas.”
Devils Sinkhole - State Natural Area
The main attraction is the Devil’s Sinkhole itself. It is a vertical cavern with an opening measuring approximately 40x60 feet and a vertical drop to the main cavern of about 140 feet. The main cavern is circular and reaches a total depth of 350-400 feet.
Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site
The LBJ Ranch is where President Johnson was born, lived, died, and was buried. Visitors are now able to tour the Ranch at their own pace in their private vehicle with the ability to stop at sites along the way such as the President’s birthplace, Johnson family cemetery, and the Johnson’s ranch house known as the Texas White House. Located in Stonewall.
Caverns of Sonora
The Caverns of Sonora is a natural cave that is one of the most active caves in the world, with more than 90% of the formations in the cave still “growing” and is known as a Natural / National Landmark.
Eckert James River Bat Cave
In Mason Texas, this cave on the preserve is the summer home for an estimated four to six million Mexican Free Tail Bats (Tadarida brasiliensis) one of the ten largest populations in the world.
