RV RESORT RULES
Check-Out Time: 11 am • Check-In Time: 2 pm.
We appreciate a 5 day notice of departure from our extended stay guests, which is a requirement for the deposit to be refunded. We reserve the right to refuse continued privileges to “repeat offenders” of park rules.
If you plan on staying past your paid-through date, please make arrangements by confirming space availability at the Office prior to 9 am. ALL RENT IS DUE AND PAYABLE IN ADVANCE; NONPAYMENT OF RENT CAN RESULT IN YOUR RIG BEING TOWED. NO REFUNDS.
PARKING: 2 vehicle limit. Parking is allowed in designated areas only! Do not block driveways. Do not park on or over the grass, in fire lanes or in any area other than your assigned parking space. Do not park in unoccupied sites.
SPEED LIMIT: 10 MPH. This speed limit is strictly enforced. Drive safely and watch for pedestrians, pets and children.
QUIET HOURS are from 10 pm to 7 am. Noise must be kept at a minimum during this time. This includes radios, stereos, TVs, and excessive dog barking. Please respect your neighbor’s privacy and property.
TRASH: Please keep your space clean. Do Not Litter. We do not offer trash pick up at your site. Deposit trash in the conveniently located dumpsters.
RESERVATIONS: Please confirm space availability if you wish to stay extra days. We cannot guarantee availability.
CABLE TV is available at all sites.
WASHING OF RVs is permitted with a hose sprayer restricting water flow.
LAUNDRY: Open 24 hours. Debit/credit card operated. NO CLOTHESLINES ARE PERMITTED.
LAKE & POOL RULES
WARNING! THE LAKE and POOL ARE DEEP ENOUGH THAT A PERSON CAN DROWN. NO LIFEGUARD OR SUPERVISION IS PROVIDED.
POOL HOURS
ADULTS 10 am to 10 pm
CHILDREN 10 am to 8 pm.
All children under the age of 16 must have adult supervision at ALL times. No running, diving or horseplay will be allowed. NO WET SWIMSUITS ALLOWED IN THE ACTIVITY CENTER OR LAUNDRY ROOM. NO SMOKING & NO GLASS containers of any kind in or around the pool area. Appropriate swimwear attire ONLY ! LAKE is decorative only. No swimming, no wading, and no floating devices.
ONLY CATCH AND RELEASE fishing is permitted.
DO NOT remove picnic tables or tables and chairs.
YOUR SITE AND RIG: Please keep your site and rig clean. No clutter or debris permitted. Please keep all hoses, cables and cords neatly bundled in rock area. Water is not permitted to leak from hoses or RVs. If water is leaking it will be turned off at the faucet and guest will be notified. Sewer hoses must have proper connections and elevated off the ground on a sewer stand, off grass. Keep grass free of all items so that lawn maintenance can be done every week. Resort is not responsible for damages to items left in the grassy area. Outdoor items must be kept to a minimum. NO large upright storage containers, open fires, exercise equipment, generators, refrigerators, freezers, window AC units, personal pools or gas cans stored outside the RV. No screen rooms, canopies or tents at your site. Maximum 3 plants permitted. Please do not allow any motor oil, fluids, gray or black holdings to leak from your vehicle or RV. A cleaning fee will be assessed if this happens (max up to $150 for cleaning spills). A bsolutely NO vehicle repairs permitted on premises. NO ATVs or gas powered golf carts (battery powered golf carts are permitted). Cargo trailers are allowed only in pull thru sites.
VISITORS: Park guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors must register at the office prior to entering the park.
FIREARMS/FIREWORKS: Firearms, fireworks and all illegal activities of any sort are strictly prohibited. “Pursuant to section 30.07, penal code (trespass by license holder with an openly carried handgun), a person licensed under subchapter H, chapter 411, government code (handgun licensing law), may not enter this property with a handgun that is carried openly.”
ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR OR LANGUAGE: Use of foul, threatening or vulgar language will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate eviction. Our intention is to maintain a civilized, well maintained campground for all.
PET RULES
Friendly pets are always welcomed. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations. Continously barking dogs will not be tolerated. NO pit bull type breeds or any aggressive dogs permitted. Pets must be kept on a leash. Pets are not allowed in any buildings or pool and pool area. Pet pens, pet fences, and dogs tethered outside unattended are not permitted. Each guest is required to promptly clean up and dispose of waste. $25 FEE FOR NOT PICKING UP AFTER YOUR PET.
MISCELLANEOUS RULES
Calling to report a crime, a concern for a neighbor, personal or park property will always be appreciated. However, if you are reported to Law Enforcement for any reason other than medical or fire emergency, you will be asked to vacate immediately with NO refund or prorating of your site cost.
We have made every effort to provide our guest with a safe and comfortable experience. However, all persons entering the resort do so at their own risk. Management is not responsible for damage, injury or loss to either person or property. Katy Lake RV Resort is a close-knit community, and as such, the community has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. Refusal to abide by rules is grounds for eviction. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone!
