1. All occupants must register with the Park Headquarters/office. All fees are due at check-in.

2. CHECK-IN time is any time after 1 PM; CHECK-OUT time is no later 12 PM. Check with the office if you need a late check out.
3. PARK CURFEW. Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, the main park closes at 10 PM.
4. GATE. Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park-RV and Primitive Tent Camping Area automatic gate closes at 10 PM. Only RV and Primitive Tent Camping permitted vehicles with the access pin will be allowed in designated RV and Primitive Tent Camping areas.
5. Occupy only the space assigned to you at check-in.
6. LENGTH OF STAY. RV site campers may not stay longer than 7 months within a year. Primitive tent campers may not stay longer than 14 nights within a year.
7. ADDITIONAL DATES. There is no prorating of fees. Monthly fee only applies September 1 – March 31. Any additional nights reserved outside of these days will be at the regular daily or weekly rate, whichever applies.
8. VEHICLES. A maximum of two vehicles (including RV) is allowed for each space (motorcycles or scooters are not considered vehicles). All vehicles must have a current license. Please park only on the portion of your site.
9. DRONES. Drones are prohibited at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park as the park is located adjacent to the Gillespie County Airport.
10. PETS/LIVESTOCK. Dogs and cats are welcome. All dogs and cats must be kept on a handheld leash when outside your RV (this is a city ordinance). Pets are not allowed inside rental facilities including ballfields. Pet feces must be picked up immediately and disposed of properly. Do not leave dogs and cats unattended. No excessive barking. No other animals or livestock are allowed in the campground.
11. QUIET HOURS ARE 10 PM UNTIL 7 AM. Please be considerate of others.
12. SPEED LIMIT is 15 MPH throughout the campground.
13. TENT CAMPING. One tent is allowed per RV site. All other tent camping must be in the designated tent camping area. Tent campers must have a tent. Sleeping in vehicles is prohibited. Tent camping is primitive, no water or electricity. Other primitive tent camping guidelines and procedures can be found on our website.
14. FIRES/FIREWORKS. Campfires are permitted in approved container pits only when weather conditions allow. Fireworks are not permitted.
15. WATER USAGE. Washing of vehicles is prohibited. Inflatable pools, hot tubs, or any other container holding larger than a bucket of water is not permitted.
16. Campsites must be kept clean and tidy at all times. Help maintain a clean and tidy park, by not littering. Please dispose of trash in the proper manner.
17. Guests using excessive amounts of Wi-Fi data will be blocked from the network.
18. No soliciting, peddling, loitering, trespassing or trading allowed in the park. Sale of drugs and alcohol is not permitted on the premises. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly.
19. SMOKING. No smoking in any park buildings or facilities. Please be considerate of others when smoking outside and smoke 50 feet away from others.
20. Do not put food outside for wild animals.
21. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their children at all times.
22. Please respect guests privacy by not walking through occupied sites.
23. TABLES. Please DO NOT move picnic tables. Contact the office if you would like to request a picnic table be moved.
24. Please close awnings and put chairs away when RV is unattended. Strong winds can cause damage.
25. Every space will be checked periodically by management, for compliance with these rules.
26. No person shall disturb the peace, make unreasonable noise, use profane language, engage in violent behavior, or display or discharge a firearm or other weapon.
27. Any guest that willfully or negligently destroys Park property or equipment will be held liable for the value to repair or replace. Guests will not be permitted to stay in the park again.
28. Any monthly renters who are late on rent will be switched to a daily renter and pay the daily rate as posted, for every day late, until the rent is paid in full.
29. No refunds issued. Depending on the circumstances, a voucher may be issued at the Recreation Superintendent’s discretion.
30. The City of Fredericksburg and its employees assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to guest property and/ or injury to person, pet or party arising due to the use of park facilities or caused by another while on the premises.
31. Park rules and policies are subject to change at any time by city officials.
32. Any guest found in violation of the rules may be asked to vacate the park, without refund.
LIABILITY: Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park will not be responsible for loss or damage to camping tenant’s property due to theft, vandalism, fire, any other casualty, wild animals, or acts of God or nature. The camping tenants expressly assume all risk of such loss or damage and must carry their own insurance.
INDEMNIFICATION: Camping tenants indemnify and hold harmless Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, its officers, and employees from all claims, liability, and expenses, including but not limited to attorney and other professional fees, for injury to person, loss of life, or damage to property arising out of tenant’s exercise of his rights hereunder, except as may be caused by the gross negligence or intentional acts of Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park or its officers and/or employees.
