Vessels are not permitted:

Vessels exceeding 40 feet in length are not permitted.

♦ Alcohol is prohibited on City beaches (including the levee system), except for at Launch Pointe and Campground.

Launching of motorized vessels is only permitted from desig nated boat launches or private property.

♦ Vessels shall travel in counter-clockwise direction outside of the No Wake Zone.

♦ Jet propulsion propelled devices, water scooters and radiocontrolled model replica devices must remain within the No Wake Zone.

- Half hour after sunset to half hour before sunrise.

All motorized vessels must possess a City issued Lake Use Pass, Annual Lakefront Use Pass, or Annual Commercial Lake Use Pass.

♦ Must be 16 or older and in possession of his/her California Boater Card to operate a vessel with more than 15 horsepower. Persons 12 to 15 years of age may operate a vessel powered by a motor of 15 hp or more if supervised on board by a person at least 18 years of age and in possession of his/her Boater Card.

♦ All California Department of Fish and Game Regulations are strictly enforced. Please refer to the Sport Fishing on Lake Elsinore Regulations for fishing regulations specific to Lake Elsinore.

All users of the Lake agree to understand and comply with all ap plicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

- 35 MPH between No Wake Zone buoy-line to the center of the Lake.

♦ Night boating is only permitted for motorized vessels on desig nated dates/times.

♦ Littering is prohibited.

RULES SPECIFIC TO LAKE ELSINORE

♦ DANGER – Beware of sudden drop offs and underwater hazards. ♦ DANGER - NO Diving! Beware of shallow water. In case of EMERGENCY – Phone: 911 or Sheriff’s Non-emergency Dispatch – Phone: 1-800-950-2444

- 5 MPH in No Wake Zone (between shore and buoy-line), or during restricted visibility, or within 100 feet of a person in the water.

- When wind speeds exceed 55 MPH.

- When wind speeds exceed 39 MPH and vessel has less the 6 inches of freeboard.

♦ Reckless and/or negligent operations of vessels is not permitted.

Anchoring is not permitted outside of the No Wake Zone. Overnight beaching, mooring, or berthing of vessels is not permitted without an Annual Lakefront Use Pass. Persons must remain at least 50 feet from wells, buoys, fencing, or designated law enforcement or public safety docks.

♦ Towables must be commercially manufactured and utilized within the manufacture’s intended use(s). No more than one inflatable towable may be towed at any given time. Tow lines must not exceed 75 feet in length. Orange 12”x 12” safety flag must be displayed while any person(s) are in the water.

13 LAKE USE REGULATIONS (Summarized from Chapter 9.96 Lake Use Regulations and Chap ter 8.40 Parks and Beaches of Lake Elsinore Municipal Code.)

- 150 MPH Monday - Friday (except Holidays) in High Speed Zone (HSZ) located between HSZ buoys in the center of the Lake. Vessels operating in excess of 80 MPH must be equipped with ignition kill switch tethered to driver and 100-MPH rated floating devices. Helmets must be worn by all persons on-board.

♦ Personal water craft course zones permitted with City Man ager approval.

♦ Glass containers are prohibited.
