RESORT RULES & POLICIES
ALL CAMPERS & VISITORS MUST REGISTER at the Check-In Building upon arrival.
ALL VEHICLES MUST HAVE A VALID CAR PASS, hung from the rear view mirror of the vehicle, numbers facing out. For the safety of all campers, please observe the speed limit of 5MPH throughout the campground. There is a 2 car per site limit, any additional vehicles must obtain a visitor pass and park in our overflow parking lot.
SCOOTERS, MOTORIZED KIDDIE CARS, GO CARTS, MOTORBIKES, & SMALL ENGINE VEHICLES OF ANY KIND ARE PROHIBITED.
CAMPERS MAY ARRIVE ON A MOTORCYCLE, BUT ARE NOT PERMITTED TO RIDE THE VEHICLE THROUGHOUT THE CAMPGROUND.
NO BICYCLE RIDING AFTER DARK; HELMETS ARE RECOMMENDED.
CAMPSITE & CABIN OCCUPANCY MUST NOT EXCEED THE MAX CAPACITY OF SITE TYPE. All guests visiting campers at campsites & cabins must wear a wristband.
CAMPERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD DUE TO STATE REGULATIONS. This is to prevent the spread of invasive species. Firewood is available for purchase and delivery at our Camp Store.
CAMPFIRES MUST BE MONITORED AT ALL TIMES. CONFINE CAMPFIRES TO THE FIRE RINGS ONLY AND KEEP THEM SMALL. To help us maintain the campground, please do not move fire rings. There is a $25 fee for any fire rings that are moved.
DO NOT CUT OR CHOP ANY STANDING TREES, DEAD OR ALIVE Do not deface or damage the trees. Electric or gas-powered saws, axes, hatchets and machetes are prohibited.
TO PREVENT DAMAGE, DO NOT TAKE INDOOR FURNITURE OR TVS FROM THE CABINS AND USE THEM OUTDOORS.
TENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT CABINS OR RV SITES.
WASHING TRAILERS, RVS, OR OTHER VEHICLES IS PROHIBITED.
SEALS MUST BE USED ON ALL SEWER CONNECTIONS. Dumping of gray, sink, or black water onto the ground is prohibited. Please use site hookups to dump.
INFLATABLE OR PLASTIC POOLS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
DO NOT MOVE PICNIC TABLES TO/FROM SITES
GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND ARE PROHBITED.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY BE CONSUMED AT YOUR CAMPSITE OR CABIN. This is a family-friendly campground, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language. Intoxicated behavior and underage drinking is not allowed.
QUIET HOURS ARE: 10PM - 7AM DAILY. Please respect other campers by reducing noise and activities during quiet hours.
PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUPERVISION OF THEIR CHILDREN WHILE AT THE CAMPGROUND. Young children should be accompanied by an adult in the restrooms and recreation areas. Anyone under 18 years of age must be at their site after sundown.
DRONES ARE NOT ALLOWED, unless approved by San Marcos River Resort management prior to usage.
FIREWORKS & FIREARMS OF ANY KIND ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
SPEAKERS, AMPLIFIERS, KARAOKE AND DJ EQUIPMENT ARE PROHIBITED.
THE CAMPGROUND HAS SEVERAL AREAS THAT ARE RESTRICTED TO STAFF ONLY. Please stay out of these areas for your safety.
CAMPING IS RAIN OR SHINE. There will be no refunds or rain checks for the discomforts of nature.
PETS OF THE REGISTERED RV OR CABIN OCCUPANT ARE WELCOME, BUT LIMITED TO 2 PETS PER SITE. PETS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEASH AND MAY NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED AT YOUR SITE OR CABIN. The pet owner is responsible for noise and cleaning up pet waste. Pets are not allowed in the Camp Store, playgrounds, food & beverage areas, pavilions, clubhouses, laundry rooms, main beach area, or bathhouses. Guests of campers may not bring pets with them. If they arrive with a pet, they will not be permitted to enter the park. We reserve the right to remove hostile pets from the park.
HARASSMENT OR MISTREATMENT OF OUR STAFF OR OTHER GUESTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, RACIST COMMENTS OR HATE SPEECH, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANYONE FROM THE CAMPGROUND FOR VIOLATING THE RULES, engaging in illegal activity, destroying property, or creating a disturbance. No refunds will be given.

*By entering the premises described in this guide, I hereby consent and authorize San Marcos River Resort to photograph, or otherwise record me and to use the photographs and/or motion pictures and video taken of me, including my name, likeness and voice, as well as any testimonial statements made by myself, and all other aspects of my personality, and any reproduction of them in any form, for the purpose of publicizing, promoting, and advertising campground’s attractions in any media now known or later developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without further compensation to me. I further agree to release and hold harmless the successors and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses or damages, including without limitation reasonable attorney’s fees, which may arise out of or in connection with any claim by me or alleged to be on my behalf resulting from the use of the publicity items, the use of which I now knowingly and voluntarily grant to the campground, and the full ownership rights of which I now knowingly and voluntarily grant and assign to the campground. Further, I acknowledge and agree that I assume all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment located on the Premises including, without limitation, the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking, swimming, or boating on the Premises or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions. I agree to release directors, employees, successors and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses or damages, including without limitation reasonable attorney’s fees, which may arise out of or in connection my undertaking of these Risks. Without limiting the generality property damages resulting from such Risks. I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of any minor children that accompany me, and I hereby consent to the foregoing on his/her behalf. If you do not wish to agree to these terms, then you should not enter the Premises.
