Welcome
Welcome to Okmulgee & Dripping Springs State Parks. We are delighted you are here and extend a warm welcome to our first time visitors and a “welcome back” to our returning guests. We hope you enjoy our “Oasis in the Oaks.” We are nestled in the mighty oak trees just west of Okmulgee with two beautiful state parks and lakes for your enjoyment. We offer 123 semi-modern RV sites and 72 primitive tent sites. Restrooms, showers, lighted boat ramps, pavilions, playgrounds and ADA accessible fishing docks are available. Enjoy swimming and water sports on the lakes. A 3 1/2 mile hiking trail, part of which is ADA accessible, attracts nature lovers to the park. A rare and unique, 300 million year old fossil can be found at Okmulgee State Park called Gymnophyllum wardi (“button coral”). Samples can be seen at the Visitors Center. Okmulgee Lake, built in 1927. Dripping Springs lake completed in 1979 was designated Oklahoma’s first “Trophy Bass lake.” Okmulgee State Park boasts several 1930’s Works Progress Administration (WPA) and Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) structures. These native stone structures are a monument to young men and their tireless efforts. We want your visit here to be a great experience. We hope you enjoy your stay and please come back again.

Campground Rules & Information
Please help us by following a few guidelines that will make everyone’s stay more enjoyable. • CAMPSITES: are open year-round. • For the protection of the wildlife and our environment, please do not litter. • Protect the natural and cultural resources of our State Parks. Removing plants, rocks, fossils, etc. is prohibited. If you choose to remove them, the next guest will not be able to enjoy the same beauty that you did. • QUIET HOURS: 11pm to 6am. Be considerate of your neighbors. • WATER CONSERVATION: In order to conserve water, these things are not allowed: washing of vehicles/RV’s, kiddie pools, and water slides. • LAUNDRY: for your convenience located at the Visitors Center. Open 24/7. • ICE: available for sale at the Visitor Center and camp host site. • PETS: We welcome your pets at our Parks. For the protection of your pets, the wildlife, and other guests, we ask that you please keep your pets on a leash. Pets are not allowed in the restrooms or the swimming areas. Please clean up after your pets. • ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Possession of alcohol in concentrations greater than 3.2% is prohibited. No glass bottles. • SWIMMING: We have designated swimming areas for our guests. There are no lifeguards on duty; please ensure children are not left unattended. Glass containers are not allowed in the swimming areas. • GREY WATER: Grey water ultimately harms the fish supply in our lakes and is illegal in the State of Oklahoma. Dump Stations are located throughout the Park. We ask that you hold all grey water in your trailer and dump it with your other waste. • CAMPFIRES: You are welcome to pick up fallen branches or other debris for your campfire, but our living trees are precious and must be protected. Please be responsible for controlling fires until extinguished. Observe all fire alerts and burn bans. • FIREWORKS: Prohibited. • FIREARMS: Possession of a loaded firearm is prohibited without proper carry permits. • SEVERE WEATHER: In the event of severe weather, please take shelter in one of the restrooms. Please do not stay in your RVs or tents. • Call 911 in case of emergency. We thank you for your cooperation!
