Campground Guidelines For the pleasure and convenience of all our camping guests, please observe the following guidelines while at the campground: Site Assignment – Please check with office before changing sites. One vehicle and one camping unit per site. Parking available for extra vehicles. Please drive only on roads and park on graveled areas. Sites – We hope you found your site clean and welcoming and appreciate you leaving it that way for the next guest. Smokers - please help us keep the environment clean and dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Pads under jacks will protect sites in the hot Texas sun. No rubber-backed mats on grass areas. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Please be considerate of your fellow campers. No generators at any time. Check-In/Check-Out Time – Check-out time is noon. Check-in time is 1:00 pm for sites, and 2:00 pm for cabins. To request a late checkout, or register for additional day(s), contact the office by 10:00 am the day you are due to depart. Speed Limit is 10 MPH. Campfires – Campfires permitted only in fire rings and subject to local wind and dryness conditions. Please do not move fire rings. Tend your campfire and extinguish before leaving or retiring for the night. Firewood may be purchased in the store. Fireworks and Firearms – Firearms and fireworks, including sparklers, are not permitted. Clotheslines permitted under awnings only. Do not attach anything to our trees. Washers and dryers are available in the 24-hour laundry. Trash – Please take trash to the Dumpsters provided. Please do not leave trash out overnight. Recycling – Camp Green – separate aluminum cans and bottles from regular trash and place them in recycling bins. Washing Vehicles – On-site washing of RVs and vehicles is not permitted. Check with office before doing any vehicle maintenance/repair. Page 4
Awnings – Put awning in when you are away. Wind can be strong, sudden, and unpredictable. Visitors – Visitors must be registered at the office and pay a visitor fee before going to a site. Please be sure your guests are registered. Visiting hours for non-campers begin at noon and end when the campground office closes unless other arrangements have been made. Pool • Pool hours are posted, and vary by season. • There is no lifeguard; swim at your own risk. • Children under 14 years of age must have adult supervision at the pool. • Proper swim attire must be worn (no street clothes) in pool. • No glass or alcohol in the pool area. • No jumping, diving, or running, for the safety of all campers. • Additional rules are posted at the pool area. Pet Policies • Friendly, non-aggressive pets are always welcome. Even the friendliest pet can become frightened in strange surroundings and behave in a threatening manner, so please do not leave your pet unattended. • All leashes must be attached to a pet and a person, and should be no longer than 6 feet. • Please use our pet walk and clean up after your pet. • Pets are not permitted in any building or recreational area. Local Critters • Texas has a wide variety of critters not seen in other parts of the country. Use caution when lifting brush, branches, etc. • Yucca Plants have lovely flowers, but spiky leaves can cut! • If you find a fire ant mound in your site, please contact the office and we will treat the area. • Be cautious when walking pets, as fire ants bite and can pose a risk to pets and people. • There are coyotes in the area. Please watch pets and small children, especially at night.
