Welcome to Russell Springs KOA JOURNEY Our Campground Guidelines 1. Check-Out for all sites is 11:00 am., CST Check-In is at 2:00 pm., CST 2. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 pm - 7:00 AM CST. Please respect you fellow campers. 3. Speed Limit is 5MPH. Please drive carefully and watch for children. 4. Camping Sites - Only one camping unit allowed per site. If you have more than 1 vehicle, please check with the office. Additional parking spaces are available. Visitors shall register at the office and leave the premises by 10pm. Guests staying past 10pm will be charged the overnight fee. 5. Swimming is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. All children under 18 years of age and those who cannot swim must be accompanied by an adult. No solo swimming. No wet swim suits are allowed in buildings. Lake swimming is located 1 mile away at Wolf Creek Recreation Area. 6. Bagged Garbage - place in dumpster located behind the store. 7. Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash (less than 6ft), kept quiet and cleaned up after. Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome. Any dog that shows behavior that is protective, unfriendly to strangers, or barks excessively will need to be left at home. Pets are not allowed in the store or recreation hall. 8. ATV’s or Motorbikes are not to be ridden throughout the grounds recreationally (for fun or joy-riding.) They should be driven on maintained roads. No off-road riding. 9. No washing of cars, trailers or boats. 10. Trees are a welcoming attraction to this campground. Please do not tie pets or clotheslines to them. Do not drive nails into, or damage our trees. Do not burn wood with any staples or nails. Firewood is for sale at the camp store. 11. Campfires are to be confined to established fire pits. No bonfires - Small well contained fires only. Please do not move fire pits from other sites. 12. Boat Storage: Overnight storage is provided in the front parking lot. Any other parking arrangements require management approval. 13. Explosives, firecrackers or firearm use is not permitted in the park. 14. Alcoholic beverages are to be kept at your site as required by KY State Law. 15. Anyone found destroying campground property, disrupting other campers or personnel, or creating excessive noise will be asked to leave the campground.
