Bastrop is the Most Historical Small Town in Texas. Bastrop, Texas was established in 1832, named for Philip-Hendrick Nering-Bogel, the Baron de Bastrop. In 1827, Moses Austin, father of Stephen F. Austin, received a grant from Mexico for the colony at Bastrop. Bastrop now represents a blending of the old and new. Nestled on the banks of the Colorado River, the historic district offers a delightful selection of shops filled with gifts, crafts, books, and antiques. Adding to the charm are many restaurants that provide visitors with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. In addition to exceptional shopping and dining, Bastrop has a lot more to offer. Fishing is great on Lake Bastrop and the Colorado River. The river also offers boating and canoeing. Take a leisurely stroll along the river on the Colorado Riverwalk. Visit Beautiful Bastrop You will discover for yourself why we are known as the Home of the Lost Pines.

Guidelines

For A Swell Time!

At The Oaks RV Park, we expect and encourage common courtesy throughout the park. These rules help ensure that The Oaks RV Park remains a safe, clean, quiet and desirable place to stay. If you have questions about anything that may or may not be allowed, PLEASE ASK FIRST. 1. Office Hours: Tues-Fri 10am - 6pm, Sat 10am-2pm. CLOSED on Sun/Mon. If you have an urgent need (power, water, safety issue) while the office is closed, please call our cell phones. Larry: 210 862 0672, Jami: 210 862 1779. Or leave voicemail at the office: 512 200 4994. 2. Speed limit throughout the park is 10 MPH. Park in front of your site only - NOT in the grass areas. No more than two vehicles are allowed to be parked at your site and must be fully within your site - not into the road or a neighboring site. Additional vehicles or utility trailers must be parked in the storage area and will be charged an additional fee. 3. Pets: All pets must be approved by management in advance. Limit of two pets per site (cats and/or dogs). 4. Children: Your children are your responsibility. Please ensure that they are not playing in potentially unsafe areas, including the road, other guests’ sites, the laundry room, bath house, clubhouse or pavilion. Do not allow children to disturb other guests. 5. Common Areas: Keep any common areas (laundry building, restrooms, showers, pavilion, etc.) neat and clean. No smoking or pets are allowed in any of the buildings.

7. Water: We practice water conservation year round - do not waste water. Leaking connections or hoses must be immediately replaced. Water leaks on your end may result in you being charged for the wasted water. 8. Sewer: A sewer hose “donut,” “L” connector or other secure sewer connection is required. Leaking connections or hoses are a health hazard and must be immediately replaced. Do not dispose of black or gray water onto the ground. 9. Trash & Recycling: Use trash dumpster for TRASH only and recycling dumpster for RECYCLING only. Trash must be tied in plastic bags and deposited in the dumpsters. Do not leave trash on top of the dumpsters. Do not use the dumpsters to dispose of nonhousehold trash. If it doesn’t fit in a trash bagdo NOT place it in the dumpster. Do not leave trash outside your RV at any time. Keep your site and all park areas litter free - including cigarette butts. 10. Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi service is a complimentary service for our guests and is offered completely at our discretion. 11.
