Bastrop is the Most Historical Small Town in Texas. Bastrop, Texas was established in 1832, named for Philip-Hendrick Nering-Bogel, the Baron de Bastrop. In 1827, Moses Austin, father of Stephen F. Austin, received a grant from Mexico for the colony at Bastrop. Bastrop now represents a blending of the old and new. Nestled on the banks of the Colorado River, the historic district offers a delightful selection of shops filled with gifts, crafts, books, and antiques. Adding to the charm are many restaurants that provide visitors with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. In addition to exceptional shopping and dining, Bastrop has a lot more to offer. Fishing is great on Lake Bastrop and the Colorado River. The river also offers boating and canoeing. Take a leisurely stroll along the river on the Colorado Riverwalk. Visit Beautiful Bastrop You will discover for yourself why we are known as the Home of the Lost Pines.

Or leave voicemail at the office: 512 200 4994. 2. Speed limit throughout the park is 10 MPH. Park in front of your site only - NOT in the grass areas. No more than two vehicles are allowed to be parked at your site and must be fully within your site - not into the road or a neighboring site.
