Whistle Stop Pet Policy 1. All pets must always be kept on a leash or tether. All tethers need to keep your pet within your site. The only acceptable place for your pet to run loose is within the dog park. 2. No securing your pet to the outside of your camper/picnic tables/stakes and leaving them outside unattended. You must be present with your pet if the pet is outside. No watching from inside your camper, as you need to be physically outside with your pet. If you have a pen/kennel within your site, you still must be present when your pet is outside. Kennels must be portable and approved by management. 3. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet within the entire resort. This includes the roadways, hillsides, behind your camper, dog run, and back by the horse barn. Messes that are not cleaned up will result in a $25 fine for each occurrence. After 3 occurrences, you will be asked to vacate without a refund. 4. If your pet bites/attacks another guest or their pet, you will have 24 hours to vacate. A police report will be made, and you will be responsible for any and all medical or vet bills incurred by whomever your pet bit/attacked. Allowing pets here is a privilege and comes with responsibilities that you as a pet owner need to be aware of. If your pet is a known risk for biting/attacking people or pets, it is not welcome within the resort, since we have small children present and many guests travel with their own pets. If your pet bites/attacks another guest or their pet, it is no longer welcome on the resort grounds. You must always be in control of your pets(s). No exceptions.

5. If you have a dog or dogs that bark incessantly inside or outside of your camper, disturbing other guests, you will receive one warning that the situation needs to be remedied. If the barking/disruption continues, you will be asked to vacate. We have immense pride in the fact that Whistle Stop is a quiet and guest-friendly resort. 6. Cats are welcome as long as they either reside in your trailer, or if they are tethered/penned outside with you present. We cannot allow cat(s) to roam freely around the resort. Cats jump on and scratch expensive vehicles, and they urinate/defecate within the grounds. If your cat damages another person’s property, you will be responsible for the repairs. 7. Do not bring your pet into the laundry room, bathhouses or clubhouse. (This does not apply to service dogs.) Washing of your pets in the bathhouses is prohibited. If you are observed washing your pet within the bathhouse, you will be fined $25 for the cleanup of the pet hair/mess from the facility. With the third occurrence, you will be asked to vacate. 8. No washing of pet bedding in our laundry facilities is permitted. Our washers and dryers are to be used for our guests’ clothing and linens, not those of their pets. By washing your pets’ bedding and such, you leave behind large amounts of pet hair inside the washers and dryers. No one wants to wash their clothing because it comes out covered in dog hair, and our employees spend hours cleaning the pet hair from our equipment. If you are observed washing pet bedding, you will be charged $25 for each occurrence. With the third occurrence, you will be asked to vacate.
We highly recommend, in situations of extreme or severe weather, that guests be prepared to seek shelter. Pets are welcome to join you if the need ever arises. During times of severe and extreme weather, both bathhouses and the clubhouse will be UNLOCKED. Within the resort, the safest places to be are:
• Either bathhouse in the hallway or
bathrooms on the right-hand side when you walk in. Stay away from external walls and the doorway if possible. • The clubhouse has an internal hallway between the kitchen area and the restrooms. Stay away from windows, doors and exterior walls. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to comply with these rules in order to provide a wonderful experience for all our guests. Anyone participating in an activity deemed unacceptable by management will be asked to leave the property.
Pool Rules • Pool hours are 10 am to 9 pm daily. • There is no lifeguard on duty. • You are responsible for the behavior of

your children/guests. Guests that do not follow the rules will be removed from the pool area. If a child/guest must be removed from the pool area three times, they will be banned from the pool for the rest of the season. If the child/guest is found to be in the pool area after being banned, the responsible party will be asked to vacate. The minimum age required to swim alone is 16. Children 15 and younger must be supervised by a legal adult who is in the pool area with the child(ren). If a child is not potty-trained, swim diapers are required. No regular diapers in the pool. Absolutely no glass in the pool area. Keep the pool area clean, tidy and free of your trash. No running or horseplay in the pool area. Vulgar language is not allowed. Remember, other guests and little ears are constantly listening. Chairs are not diving boards. Please do not allow your child(ren) to use our equipment/ furniture to jump off into the pool. If there is lightning in the area, stay out of the pool.
