GUIDELINES FOR GOOD CAMPING
GENERAL GUIDELINES
· Quiet Time: 11:00 pm - 8:00 am.No excessive noise or public disturbances. Loud or offensive noises, rowdyism, or ill-mannered conduct.
· Speed Limit: 10 mph. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. Remember… Children are playing!
· Fireworks and Firearms: Prohibited! Including BB, Airsoft, and pellet guns are prohibited on park property.
· Courtesy: Do not walk or ride through other guest sites.
· Dumpsters/Trash: Dumpsters are for use of CC registered guests and are for household type trash only. Bulky items and hazardous materials must be properly disposed of off CC property.
· Campfires: Permitted in fire rings or provided grills only. Per the Virginia Department of Forestry, campers agree not to transport firewood across state lines or into campgrounds, park or forests.
· Clotheslines: Not permitted.
· Trees - No nailing, screwing or permanent attachment to trees is allowed. Temporary strapping to trees is permitted. Do not cut or mutilate any trees, dead or alive.
· Signage – For sale signs are prohibited. No offensive or vulgar signage or flags.
CAMPSITES/RV SITES
· Check-in is at 2 pm. Check out at 12 pm
· Campsites are assigned. Please do not change campsites without checking with the reservation desk.
· Early check in and late check out are subject to fees and availability. Please check with the reservation desk.
2 vehicles permitted per site. Vehicles must park completely on the site. If needed, park additional vehicles in the parking area by the reservation desk.
CABINS & COTTAGES
· Check-in is at 3 pm. Check out at 11 am.

GOLF CARTS
· Privately owned golf carts are subject to fee upon arrival, must have proof of liability insurance, must have working headlights and taillights, and must display campground permit
· All golf carts must be operated by a licensed driver. Must present valid license. Rented golf carts from Camp Cardinal requires minimum 18 years of age to operate .
· Golf carts operated by underage or unlicensed driver or in a reckless and unsafe manner are subject to rental forfeiture or removal from property
· Golf carts may only be parked on your site or designated golf cart parking, may only drive on road and designated pathways. Cannot be taken off property.
VISITORS
· All visitors are subject to fees and must be registered at the reservation desk upon arrival
· Maximum of 8 people per site, 6 people per cottage and 4 people per cabin.
WATERCRAFT
· Privately owned trailered watercraft are subject to fee upon arrival.
· Trailered watercraft may not go to a site and must be parked in designated boat parking.
· Boat Ramp and piers are for the use of all registered guests. No overnight mooring at the piers without CC management approval.
· All motorized watercraft(s) must be launched from the boat ramp. Kayaks canoes and other non-motorized may be launched from the Kayak launch. Do not launch from campsite(s) or other places on the shoreline.
VEHICLES
· All vehicles must display a campground parking pass. Unauthorized vehicles are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
· Non-registered motorbikes, go-carts, mopeds, etc.… are not permitted.
· Vehicle washing is not permitted. Do not park or drive through unoccupied sites.
PETS
· Pets must be always leashed unless inside your RV or in the Bark Park.
· Pets may not present a hazard or nuisance to other campers.
· Pets may not be left unattended.
· Please clean up after your pet. Doggie Pots are located throughout the campground for your convenience.
· Pets are not permitted in the pool area.
· Management reserves the right to completely remove any pet from campground property.
POOL/PIERS
· Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the Pool area, Kayak launch or on the piers.
· No lifeguards are on duty, swim at your own risk.
· Pets and glass containers are not allowed in the Pool area.
· Waterslides: to ride the waterslides in the pool area, children must be 42” tall and able to swim unassisted. Shoes and floatation devices are not permitted. Parents may not ride with or catch children at the bottom of the slides.
· Boat Shack: Kayaks, paddle boats & paddle boards are available, weather and water temperature permitting. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult when on a boat.
· Check kayaks, paddle boats and paddleboards out at the Store.
LASER TAG
· Pets and glass containers are not permitted in the Laser Tag Arena.
· Shoes are required for all participants.
ALCOHOL
· Per VA state regulations, alcoholic beverages may not be publicly displayed. Please cover cans or bottles or place in an unmarked container.
· Public intoxication is not permitted.
· Underage drinking is a cause for loss of campground privileges and forfeiture of site without refund.
GENERAL STORE:
Open daily April through October. Hours vary upon season and are posted outside. Please call for assistance November through March: 804-642-4316. We are on site and happy to assist you.
THE WETLANDS: LASER TAG:
The Crabbing and Fishing Piers, Beach, Boat Ramp and Bark Park are open all year. Our fishing piers are licensed so a salt water fishing license isn’t needed. Boat Shack, Boat Rinse, & Fish Cleaning Station are open seasonally. Due to tidal and wind conditions, all Wetlands features are subject to weather closures.
A fast paced interactive tag game with state of the art tag rifles, fun for both children and adults. Sign up for the available game session in the General Store. Each session will have a limited number of openings, so be sure to sign up early. Laser Tag is for campers age 8 and up.
POOL / SPLASH PARK:
The Pool, Splash Park and Waterslides are open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Shoulder season pool hours may be available but not guaranteed. The Water Slides are open for specific posted hours. Please see the Reservation Desk for Water Slide hours.
RECREATION CENTER:
The hub of activity for the campground is right here. Arts and Crafts such as ceramics, Tye Dyed shirts, and special events take place in the air-conditioned Rec Center. The Arcade Alley with a quarter changer is located here. Just outside you will find the Jumping Pillow, Inflatable Fun Zone, Pavilion #2, GaGa Ball Pit, Outdoor Theatre, Gem Mining, Recreation Field and Ride Pick Up Station.
anyone else it may authorize, to film, tape, photograph, or otherwise record me and to use the photographs and/or motion pictures and video taken of me, including my name, likeness and voice, as well as any testimonial statements made by myself, and all other aspects of my personality (“Publicity Items”), and any reproduction of them in any form for the purpose of publicizing, promoting, and advertising Camp-Resort’s activities in any media now known or later developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without further compensation to me. I further agree to release and hold harmless Camp-Resort, its representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, officers, directors, employees, successors and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses or damages, including without limitation reasonable attorney’s fees, which may arise out of or in connection with any claim by me or alleged to be on my behalf resulting from the use of the Publicity items, the use of which I now knowingly and voluntarily grant to Camp-Resorts, and the full ownership rights of which I now knowingly and voluntarily grant and assign to Camp-Resort. Further, I acknowledge and agree that I assume all risks and dangers incidental to the acitivity of camping in a rustic outdoors envrionment located on the Premises including, without limitation, the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking, swimming, boating, laser tag, and equine activities on the Premises or of being injured as a result of inclement weather condtions (“Risks”).
I agree to release all claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses or damages, including without limitation reasonable attorney’s fees, which may arise out of or in connection my undertaking of these Risks. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I specifically acknowledge that Camp-Resort is not liable for injuries or property damage resulting from such Risks.
I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of any minor children that accompany me, and I hereby consent to the foregoing on his/her behalf. If you do not wish to agree to the terms, then you should not enter the Premises.
