GENERAL GUIDELINES We’ve established the following guidelines to help ensure your safety and enjoyment while in our park and the same to our other guests. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our park without any form of a refund. Firewood: Firewood is not permitted to be brought into the park. We have wood for sale in the Ranger Station.
Pets: Pets are welcome and should be under the owner’s control or leashed. Make sure you keep your pet with you or attended at your site. Please pick up after your pet. Cabins or Lodges: Let us know that you’re bringing a pet, and we’ll book you into a pet-friendly cabin or lodge, subject to availability. We charge a $25 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet per stay (2 pet limit). Unfortunately, if your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a non-pet cabin or lodge, you will be liable for $300 in cleaning charges.
RV Sites: While there’s no charge for bringing your pet with your RV, please don’t leave your pet unattended outside or erect any type of fence or pen around your site. Aggressive Pets: If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management of the park will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.
Speed Limit: The speed limit is 9 ½ mph. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. Remember, children are playing! Quiet Time: Quiet Time is 11 pm - 7 am.
Site Occupancy: Only ONE (1) RV or Tent is allowed per campsite. Campsites (RV and Tent) allow for a maximum of SIX (6) persons per site. Maximum occupancy for cabins is the maximum number of people they are rated to sleep. Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in any buildings at Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone Park™, including cabins. If you are found to have been smoking inside one of our cabins, you will be assessed a one-time cleaning fee of $250.
Safety After Dark: In order to ensure all our guests’ safety after dark, please carry a flashlight with you. No bike or scooter riding after dark. Trash and Garbage: Trash pickup is available at your site. Garbage can also be placed in designated dumpsters. Charcoal is to be dumped in the fire ring at your site or cabin. Ground Disposal: Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by state law. Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer.
Sewer Connections: Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector.
