Desert Nomads
In this theme tropical blooms and palm leaf prints are replaced with desert plants, the cactus. Other indoor plants and succulents are also popular for a fresh take on high summer flora, inspired by sun-drenched desert destinations. Photographic cactus prints and all over repeats feature in greenish and earthy tones for a more organic feel than in seasons past. Also the desert sunset has influence on the colour scale for this theme.
Under Water
A translucent direction inspired by the filtered light of the ocean depths and the magical, iridescent sea life beneath. A soft, gradient palette of blues and white makes this theme universally suitable for High Summer. Palm trees seen through water and under water inspired plants, gives this theme a tropic beach sense. Using a watercolour paint technique to emulate the effect of filtered light through water, blends different shades of blue colours together to create translucent layers and give a 3D effect
