DO YOU THINK SAME SEX MARRIAGE SHOULD BE LEGAL? Melissa Mongan
I’m for same sex marriage. It’s illegal to discriminate against someone for being gay for anything else so why should it be legal to discriminate against them in relation to marriage? It shouldn’t be any different to any other couple who love each other. It’s not a religion issue either because people who aren’t religious get married all the time. It’s just two people in love making a commitment to each other. Bree Morgan
Yeah they should marry. I cant really beleive why they still cant. To me I ďŹ nd it a strange law. They are humans. Who are they going to hurt. Hmmm yeah thats an easy question. I will be curious as to why anyone wouldnt make it legal. I cant think of any reasons.
Re-visit the awesome 80’s
Chris Reisner
I’m for it! If to love it should never matter who you love! I’m not gay my self, but I hate seeing that that in our time they still get treated different to everyone else! Gay people don’t have a problem with different sex weddings so why sold anyone have a problem with same sex marriage... Phoebe Kitchener
1. there is little enough love in this world, if you can ďŹ nd it then every human on the planet has a right to embrace as fully as the next person... & 2. If you are against gay marriage ... well you simply don’t have to marry a gay person... easy Beth Campbell-Munro
We all deserve the same rights, and I believe that someday‌not allowing gays to marry will seem as absurd as not allowing women to vote. Ellen Degeneres quote.

Carus Thompson It was nine years ago that Fremantle boy - come International troubadour Carus Thompson recorded his career deďŹ ning double live record Acoustic At The Norfolk. At the time he was virtually unknown outside of West Australia and the album’s release, coupled with the explosion of the Australian roots scene launched him onto the national touring circuit alongside fellow West Australian mates John Butler and The Waifs. So after nine years it’s time for a sequel. Acoustic at The Norfolk Volume II was recorded early this year and features songs from Thompson’s more recent releases, as well as a few older songs and a couple of brand newies. With the release of Norfolk Volume II Thompson will have two double live albums out - all up 48 songs in total - a pretty impressive achievement for any songwriter. It shows how much of an output Thompson has had as a writer and how he’s continuing a proud Australian singer-songwriter tradition, following in the footsteps of our songwriting greats like Paul Kelly, Mick Thomas and Tim Rogers. After more than a decade of writing, touring, recording and performing, Carus Thompson is a veteran on the Australian live music, singer-songwriter landscape. Acoustic At The Norfolk Volume II is proof of that. Thompson will be performing alongside local, Richard Perso at the Albion Hotel, Albury on Saturday, December 22, 2012.

Local acts for announced today include Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk, Chris Wilson/Geoff Achison
Band, Gallie & Shannon Bourne, Collard Greens & Gravy, Morgan Evans, Ward’s Express and Marco Goldsmith Band. Matthew Lazarus-Hall, CEO Chugg Entertainment said: “The inaugural Deni Blues & Roots Festival is an exciting new event for us to be a part of, having worked on a number of great festivals over the years that are staged around the Easter long weekend, we know that this is the perfect time of year for people to get away from their busy lives for a few days and enjoy some great live music. The Deni Ute Muster site was the perfect venue for this festival and with thanks to Regional Development Australia funding it was given the go-ahead. CEO of Rob Potts Entertain-
ment Edge, Rob Potts said, “To make a successful festival you need a great site, access to lots of people, world class staging and infrastructure and a killer line-up of great international and local talent.
