StartUP Angra

StartUp Angra is a local business incubator in the county of Angra do Heroísmo. We are focused on supporting local entrepreneurs from the beginning, when the business idea arises, and we focus on the work of gestation of this business idea. We are present in the entire process of creating the company, from the generation of the idea to its application, delivering skills in terms of management, creativity, financing, identification of opportunities and business ideas. The project to create a business incubator in Angra do Heroísmo appears in 2017, in order to fill a need that did not exist at the time.

There were no structures to support the local population in setting up a business. In this way, StartUp Angra was created with the aim of energize the local business fabric, presenting new opportunities to the new generations to settle in Terceira Island. At this moment, it can be said that StartUp Angra is at a stage of maturation, in 2022 we celebrate five years of activity, where consolidated companies in the local and regional market have already started, as well as other successful cases in entrepreneurship and in the way of innovating our businesses.

At the momen,t we are close to 100% occupancy, so the search for new business opportunities remains in Angra do Heroísmo, with strong demand for the services provided by the incubator, which makes us very satisfied with the work carried out to date. StartUp Angra’s prospects for the future are to continue working with the focus of being a support structure for local entrepreneurs, providing them with tools to consolidate their business idea and to be able, from the business incubator, to scale their business, thus boosting new business for the city of Angra do Heroísmo, for the island of Terceira and for the Azores.
