3. The third thing you must do is determine what kind of website you want, and either design it yourself or have someone design it for you. This is by far the most important step you must consider. There are several things to think about when determining what sort of internet presence you will have. (We can help you through this process with a no obligation evaluation). Are you selling a product or service? If you are selling a product(s) that will be shipped to your customer, you will most likely need a shopping cart configured into your website design and a database for all your product. Which means you will also need a merchant service provider (for processing credit card orders) if you don’t already have one. The benefit of this type of website is you have a nation wide customer base that can generate much more revenue than a local business.
