“Young Futuremakers” explored the role of young artists and creatives in local community development and aimed at highlighting and promoting youth activism. A photo exhibition and interviews examined questions such as: How do young artist imagine their work to contribute – or not – to the place they live in? What are the limitations of, and hurdles to, engagement in local space, politics, and society through art and culture? “Young Futuremakers” is a a platform encouraging creativity, and promoting and celebrating diverse forms of active citizenship, ideated by Open City Museum, supported by the City of Bressanone/Brixen (BZ) and the Festival of Contemporary Resistance of Bolzano 2014.
