Talent in 2017, and now tours the world sharing her original music and her story about never giving up–which she calls her Wisdom for Life.

About Mandy Harvey’s Educational Performance Mandy Harvey will deliver her story through songs about her personal journey to inspire students to hope, dream and believe, no matter what. She will share the challenges associated with being a deaf person in a hearing world, making her a shining example of the abilities Deaf people have and that anyone can overcome life-changing events.

During the program, Mandy will lead students in a science experiment using balloons to show the connection between sound waves and vibrations.

The Balloon Experiment Using balloons, Mandy Harvey will demonstrate how she is able to “hear” sounds. During this experiment, students will learn how air molecules carry sound waves better when forced into a small area, making the vibrations stronger.
