Asymmetric twin shirt The twin shirt is an easy to make t-shirt with a playful form.

You can create interesting effects by using different colours and by drawing sleeves of unusual shapes.

We used cotton with elastan.

You need two pieces of fabric, 150 cm (59,1 inch) in length and 100 cm (39,4 inch) wide. freely choose M Other sizes: S,L,XL

Make the pattern step by step: 1

You can create a pattern by printing out the pdf file or by drawing it directly on the paper following these simple steps.

Print the pdf file.

Draw a špattern

You need a paper, approximately 150 cm in length, 100 cm wide.

Draw a net/mesh on the paper. The net is divided into squares. The size of the square depends on the size of the shirt you want to make.

SIZE 38 : side length of a square is 21 cm (8,3 inch) SIZE 40 : side length of a square is 22cm (8,7 inch) SIZE 42: side length of a square is 23 cm (9,1 inch) SIZE 44: side length of a square is 24 cm (9,4 inch)

Draw a net of 6 columns and 4 horizontal rows. Draw a pattern for shirts as seen on the picture. Cut out the pattern along the marked lines.

Put together step by step: 1

Put one piece of fabric over another and then put on the patterns.

You can use one colour fabric (a) or use two different colours for the back and front parts (b) to get a more playful results.

Cut units and transfer markings on the fabric.

Stitch the side seams as seen on the picture (marked with a magenta dashed line) to create the sleeves and body of the shirt.
