OI China PRAYER LETTER November 2011
"He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again." ~ Proverbs 19:17 Year of the Rabbit!
Praise the Lord! The OI China Nanjing Head Office was opened by Mr Geoffrey V. Kells AM, Chairman of OI China, on 28 Oct. Nanjing will serve as the hub of OIC operation in China. It will provide back-office services to all OIC operations. It aims to promote efficiency and innovation and give direction and supervision to help enhance the growth of OIC.
Rabbit farmer Gao Liang joined Project Elisha by training his village people to grow rabbits. He provides baby rabbits, food and immunisation vaccines to his apprentices and trains them to tender rabbits at their own homes. After 3 months of feeding the farmers bring the grown rabbits back and sell to Mr Gao at an agreed price. Mr Gao has 400 apprentices now.
