hile significant national efforts to eliminate avoidable pressure ulcers (APUs) have been made in recent years, tissue viability nurses are confronted by a range of dayto-day challenges in achieving an APU incidence rate of zero. In response, Wounds UK will hold an intensive one-day event providing practical advice on how to achieve national targets of eliminating APUs. The focus will be on recognising problems and offering realistic solutions.
