Protecting the diabetic foot Providing the best evidence to guide practice for everyone who works with diabetes patients The annual National Conference of The Diabetic Foot Journal is now in its 16th year and will again provide healthcare professionals with a dynamic, topical and interactive learning event. This year’s conference is entitled ‘Protecting the diabetic foot’ and sessions have been designed to examine common patient presentations, providing evidence-based and practical guidance to ensure effective assessment, investigation, treatment strategy and management. Content will be relevant for all healthcare professionals responsible for the care of the diabetic foot, including: podiatrists, specialist podiatrists, community podiatrists, podiatry managers/leads, consultants, diabetologists, vascular surgeons, diabetes specialist nurses, tissue viability nurses, practice nurses and orthotists.
