T
his year’s Scottish Wound Care Conference provides an update on key interventions and important issues affecting clinicians working in wound care. This includes the following: • Accurate recording of pressure ulcers, moisture lesions and heel ulcers • Safe practice in debridement and NPWT • Complaints and litigation: Protecting patients • National policies and targets
Now in its 14th year, this free-to-attend event will continue to provide healthcare professionals in Scotland with an unrivalled opportunity to access high-quality education, and to enhance their CPD portfolios with dedicated workbooks. The day will close with a panel debate, during which the speakers will present clinical scenarios for discussion and highlight lessons learned from the day’s sessions. This conference is an opportunity to benefit from shared experiences and to challenge, improve and confirm existing practice – a “must attend” for any clinician treating patients with wounds. We look forward to welcoming you to Glasgow. Rob Yates Publishing Director, Wounds UK
