Sharing Google Accounts with Your Agency Linking Google Adwords Inviting your Internet marketing agency to your various Google accounts will enable them to assess your current Internet marketing performance, provide you with a strategy and allow them to implement recommended changes. Here are the three key requests your agency will make at the beginning of your relationship.

Log into your Google Adwords account and provide your agency with your Google AdWords customer ID number. You will find this at the top of the page.

Your agency will then request to link your account with their Client Centre (MCC) using the “Link Existing Accounts” button.

You should then receive a notification in your Google AdWords account. To accept this visit your Adwords account – Click the cog, account settings, account access, and accept the invitation

Until accepted the agency will see a pending notification, once accepted your agency will receive a notification and your account is now linked allowing your agency to analyse and work on your Google AdWords campaign.

You can remove your agency account access at any time by clicking on the cog, account settings, account access and selecting “terminate access”


Linking Google Analytics 1

Log into your Google Analytics Account and click on “admin” at the top of the page

If you have multiple accounts make sure you select the account you want to share with your agency. You can do this in the dropdown box on the left of the page under the header “ACCOUNTS”

Once the correct account has been selected in the column headed “PROPERTY” select “User Management”

Enter the email address that your agency has provided for access and check all access boxes. Check “notify this user by email”

Your agency will receive an email and will now be able to access your analytics account.

You can edit agency permissions at any time, by accessing admin, property, user management and unchecking the access boxes


Inviting as an owner of Google Webmaster Tools 1 2

Log into your Google Web Master Tools Account and select the website from your account that you want your agency to access.

Click the cog and select “Users and Site Owners”

Click “Manage Site Owners”

Scroll down and in the bottom left section of the page Click “Add an Owner”

Your agency will now have access to your websites Google Webmaster Tools information.

You can unverify ownership at anytime in the “Manage Site Owners” page
