The main hall consists of a two two-tier (shoes on and shoes off) main entrances with restrooms next to each entrance, an ablution area on the main lobby that connects all these services to the prayer hall entrances, and another entrance directly from the site for females, which goes in the private females zone that contains a restrooms and an ablution area, and a staircase to the female prayer hall on the second floor. 14

Roof floor plan

The exposed prayer zone on the roof can be accessed from a monumental ramp that goes from the internal lobby of the main hall at the bottom reaching the roof prayer zone at the top. The carpets on the roof can be rolled in special cabinets on the edges of the roof space to avoid rain or dust. In the Qibla direction the structure is low enough for the worshipper and even the visitors on off-prayer times to enjoy the river and park view.

15

The main prayer hall is divided into two section seperated by a mechanical transparent wall, one small section underneath the female prayer hall is the daily prayer section, and these walls can be moved to connect this section to the larger one to create a bigger hall for prayer that can be used for Jumaah and Eid prayers.

T

he tower consists of two buildings, one is 42 floors and the other one is 16 floors with a high volume core lobby between the two buildings and a basement parking.

Mass study In a type of project like this, one of the most important things to consider is the aeshetic element, so studying the shape of the volume and how the mass works aesthetically and structurally was a critical step. So I designed the models based on an original approach and tried to come up with a unique form. Every different color in the picture refers to different type of approach.

Louvers villa

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Company: Zamil Luxury Architecture Team: Me, Tarso Endres. Area: 1400² Type: Residential Year: 2018

L

ouvers villa resides on a two sided street plot, one plot away from Tahlia street, so the client required a wide view on Tahlia street as a main consideration. The design focuses on providing the most visual connection to the street in most of the internal spaces and rooms, with respect to privacy and sun protection using louvers covering most of the facade.

Islamic animation center (Graduation project) Location: Dubai, UAE School Project (Winner of best project in college) Team: Me Area: 65000² Type: Office building/exhibition/theater/educational Year: 2016

We

have poor quality to non media production that represents us as arabs and muslims in a proper way and carry out the isalmic culture and principals to the whole world. This project aims to achieve the best environment to host proffesional corporations and individuals in the animation industry in order to make the islamic animation, and attract investors and tourists. It aims also to introduce the animation and products of islamic animation as entertainment, merchandise, and education (training) to people of all ages and intrests. In addition to introducing the islamic values and principals through the products and the project itself.

Concept and elements of animation: Animation is a motion or an illusion of it, and the elements that create these motions we see combined with the features and pictures in the scene creates the final product wich is the animation. Elements of the animation scene are: Foreground (Dynamic element), Background (Static element), Colours, Sounds. Features of animations: usually animations have this fictional colorful atmosphere, the word atmosphere defines one of the most important features when describing an animation, because the stronger the impact of this feature on you the more you live in the story and scene, and it makes one animation different from the other. So when talking about the mental imagery of islamic animation what comes to mind is the image of old stories with large castles and mansions, which take place usually in arabian desert for example.
