For the third year in a row they want to increase the daily rate of seafront car parking charges by 10%. They are also looking to extend these charges past6pm until late, that are presently free.

TheSouthend-on-Sea City Council administration, made up of the ‘‘Non-IndependentIndependentParty’’, the Labour Party and the Liberal Democrats, have decided that local families visiting the seafront are not paying enough in parking charges!
