ROOM by ROOM Area designers share details about some of their favorite rooms.

MAIN BEDROOM

In this main bedroom, we created a sophisticated room with a casual and textured feel. We mixed wood, iron, upholstery, and wicker to achieve this look. The contrast of the dark stained herringbone wood wall with the cream nightstands and the cream linen bedding makes a layered feel for an inviting and livable bedroom.

KITCHEN

An entertaining space customized from the ground up for the most discerning of epicures. This downtown Orlando high-rise condo’s kitchen features a monolithic appliance wall with refrigeration by Sub-Zero and dual ovens and warming drawer from Miele. Induction range and ventilation hood float beneath a shroud of mirror. A large peninsula clad in Macassar Ebony Veneer and Cambria Quartz intersects a wall of floor-to-ceiling bronze mirror. The kitchen also includes plumbing fixtures from Waterstone, Ideal Workstation by The Galley, decorative surface mount lighting from Tom Dixon, and Monster Counter Stools by Marcel Wanders.
