Orlando Women’s Conference EXTRA

The 14th annual Orlando Women’s Conference, scheduled for Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, is a one-day program built around the concept of growing, nurturing and empowering women leaders. Orange Appeal has been an ardent supporter of women since launching in 2008 and as a direct outreach, an annual women’s conference, held each fall, was established.

Last year’s event brought together more than 450 professionals, community leaders and business owners. The conference features dozens of speakers in a variety of sessions. We encourage women to take a day for themselves and expand their horizons with personal and professional development sessions.

Morning breakout sessions cover a variety of topics from community leadership to entrepreneurial lessons to career and life success. The keynote luncheon features prominent women who deliver inspiring and uplifting messages.

A special fashion presentation by the Mall at Millenia and performances by local arts groups, Orlando Philanharmonic, Opera Orlando, Orlando Ballet and Central Florida Vocal Arts, are also part of the day.

The afternoon’s SHETalks features leading women who discuss the state of our community, personal passions and the issues, challenges and opportunities for women to come together and lead. The day ends with a reception in the exhibit hall where new relationships are formed and old ones are renewed.

The exhibit Marketplace o˜ ers attendees an opportunity to see what’s new in everything from beauty and healthcare to education and self improvement. But there is also a dose fun too, with clothing and jewelry vendors.

Orange Appeal publishes programming content as well as information on our speakers and sponsors in the SEPT/OCT ‘24 issue. We work with a committee of women from across Central Florida to fully develop the day. The Orlando Women’s Conference provides an impactful forum for important women’s and community issues.
