Skinny, boyfriend, bell bottom, Boot Leg, flared, ripped, baggies. Jeans are a staple in every girl’s wardrobe and let’s be hones, one pair is just not enough. We’re loving the Boot Leg style for pear shaped ladies, or skinny’s for the long and lanky. Go boyfriend if you’re petite and roll the cuffs for some extra style. Taking the time to find the perfect fit and wash is definitely a must. Denim can be dressed up or down and designer jeans can set you back as much as $5000– you can thank the 80’s for that…but don’t worry there are so many options out there to suit any budget - Cotton On have some fab fits to suit those of

us who are tight on the pennies. Nobody’s are a good mid-range brand and will set you back about $190, they’ll be worth every dollar though! Denim jeans look great with a classic crisp white shirt and a pair of strappy heels - or try boots and a leather jacket for an edgier look! Ripped Jeans are this season’s hottest trend and the A-listers love this laidback luxe look. You don’t have to follow the latest trends to look stylish, pick a shape and colour that suits your body and add accessories to show off your own personal style.

Planning an evening out with your girlfriends? Try Talulah’s bold floral patterned structured dresses. Flattering and fun! Autumn blooms are in this season and the bigger the print the better. There’s a great mix of pastels and brights, black and white’s - there’s a dress to suit everyone’s taste. Team these beauties with strappy heels and some fine jewellery. Add some extra fun with a clashing clutch, try a geometric pattern or double up on the florals - go with contrasting colours to act as a feature for your look.

THAT When we hear 70’s we think flared jeans, glo mesh, maxi dresses, disco music and permed hair – eek! Don’t worry; not everything that goes around comes around again. Yes, 70’s boho is back for round two, only much more stylish! Make this look fun with bright colours teamed with lavish jewellery or choose softer earthy tones and add round sunglasses and a floppy hat - finish your look with some flash tats - these are huge at the moment, thanks to insta-famous babes @mimielashiry and @sahara_ray. When buying lingerie it’s always important to have your basics. The unfortunate thing about the word ‘basics’ is that women relate them to being ‘boring’ or ‘nana-like’ well - not anymore! Check out these amazing bralettes - not only are they practible, but they are sexy and comfortable! These beauties are suitable for all shapes up to a D cup and we’re absolutely in love! Miranda hand makes every one of these bralettes with matching undies with love and perfection. The whole range is to-die-for. You can see more at mirandaleeintimates.bigcartel.com

AQUILA BERGSTROM WORDS EBONY TYERS

Can you first please tell us a little bit about yourself? Sure! My name is Aquila Bergstrom and I’m currently 24-years-old living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. My mum is American and my dad is Australian also. My love for modelling dates back to when I was three. I modelled the “Dorothy Hat” for the Wiggles runway and concert event. I loved the excitement of being in-front of a camera and wanted to take modelling up full-time. In my pre-teens I focused primarily on school, surf life saving, soccer and being a kid. However, once I reached 13, I was back into the idea of being a professional modeland did some jobs here and there. It helped enormously being the same height as I am today when I was 14, I grew way before everyone my age, so I had a bit of an edge I suppose. Aside from the enjoyment that I get out of this industry, my main desire is to be a healthy role model for girls and women alike. I want to be someone they can aspire to be like. I don’t drink, smoke or do drugs and I eat five times a day! I would much rather spend my time reading a good novel or surfing than being caught up in circles of jealous or overly competitive girls. I enjoy my alone time and I love meeting new people with similar values on my travels. In the future I would love to write a book about empowering young girls to stay true to themselves; rather than being pressured into the skinny look that fashion displays. Did it take you long to get to where you are today? Yes, definitely! Every modelling job I have ever landed has required me to work extremely hard and put in many hours of my own time. I have been incredibly lucky to have scored so many amazing jobs, however over half of them I approached myself. Spending my time doing this doesn’t bother me though because it is something I love and I suppose working this hard towards my goals just shows how dedicated I am to my job! That kind of passion can drive you to do and achieve amazing things.

Can you tell us where you would love to be in five years? My ultimate dream would be to have my own travel show either online or on television, one that would focus on showcasing the hidden beauty behind each country. I believe so many countries miss out on the opportunity to publicise their uniqueness as many travel experts solely focus on mainstream attractions such as resorts and leisure activities. To me, coming to work every day would be such a rewarding experience as I would be able to take my viewers on each amazing journey I have. Who is a major inspiration to you and why? That’s easy! Jessica Stein from Tuula! She’s one of Australia’s most successful fashion and lifestyle bloggers, whom has managed to make a living out of both travelling and blogging. I think my inspiration comes from her unique outlook on life as she tends to branch away from regular destinations and showcases the beauty behind each one in a really unique way. What are your three favourite travel destinations and why? 1. Bora Bora, Tahiti - Its honestly one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever travelled to. The crystal clear water, beautiful beaches and tranquility of the island is just breathtaking. This is one place I strongly recommend travelling to!

2. Hawaii would be a close second. The culture and serenity is something I’ve always admired. I love knowing that you’re literally on an island in the middle of the ocean and still feel everything is at your fingertips. I love that I can get away with wearing my fitness gear without it being offensive to the locals as everyone has such a chilled out vibe and it offers the three things I love, mountains, waves and coral. 3. New York City had to be in my top three! I just love this city for what it is. The people, the clothes, the culture, the weather and the lifestyle just make it one of the most appealing cities in the world. Oh and the food! American food has to be one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted, terrible for you - but who said a peanut butter cup once every now and then was a bad thing?! Hehe. If you could travel to one destination where would you go and why? Morocco! This place has always been a dream of mine to visit. With my fascination in interior design and architecture, I would love to see the incredible structure and style behind these buildings! I would also love to experience the amazing culture that Morocco has to offer and try some of their signature dishes. I love food! To me, Morocco is unlike many of your typical travel destinations - it’s that uniqueness that inspires me to visit.

What do you do to relax in your time off? I love playing around with my blog and making little adjustments here and there; anything I can do to make it more appealing for my viewers. Horse riding is also something I love to do in my spare time. I’ve been obsessed with horses ever since I was a little girl and honestly nothing’s changed. It’s just such a relaxing thing to do and gives me a sense of freedom every time. Scuba diving is my main hobby, its pretty much yoga underwater, except instead of staring at other people stretching in front of you, there’s Nemo- way cooler. Oh and reading a good book! I love just taking an hour out of my day to relax and read one of my favourite books; it’s something I’ve always enjoyed.

and accompany it with my own philosophical blurbs. The idea behind this is to share my life experiences and to highlight that life is not meant to be lived in the same place! Everyone should make time to travel and experience the world. So, by sharing my photos and blurbs on whatever it is that’s on my mind with others I’m hoping I can inspire more people to get out and see the beautiful world we live in while encouraging people to read a positive affirmation or guide to make their lives happier or inspire them to make a positive change in their life.

How would you define your style? Relaxed! I love wearing clothes that make me feel comfortable but are also fashionable. My favourite things to wear are my lace beach dresses with a pair of moccasins or wedges. While I love the chilled out style of beach clothes, I can’t say I don’t enjoy dressing up in my favourite designer high heels and heading out in style! I tend to think I either have two styles… Totally causal, or totally formal. What are currently doing? Well I’ve just completed my four- year degree of Public Relations and Events Management at USC and am now focusing on my new journey for my blog and Instagram; it’s called #365 of wandering! So basically what I try and do is upload a different photograph, video, image or quote each day that I have either taken or are inspired by
