general information~ Bridges staff are here to make your event worry free ~ We are a full service catering company offering knowledgeable and qualified serving staff, bartenders, event rentals, attractive buffet decorations, fresh floral arrangements, and most importantly unique and delicious food for any occasion. Using only the freshest of ingredients, we will provide you with innovative style to suit your specific needs and of course work with you and your planned budget.
DISPOSABLES We offer paper disposables for your order at an additional charge of 35¢ per person. We also offer china; please inquire for pricing when making your order.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS If you have any special requests, dietary or otherwise, please advise us when placing your order. An additional charge of $5.00 per person will apply for special menu requirements such as dietary or allergy restrictions.
DELIVERY, SET UP AND PICK UP Our delivery service includes delivery to your door, set up of your order, and pickup of dishes. Please ensure that all dishes have been cleared of remaining food and are left in the same place that they were delivered to or advise us otherwise. A replacement fee will be charged for any broken or missing accessories including serving ware and decorations. Delivery within Edmonton between 8:00am and 5:00pm for under 50 people $25.00 Delivery within Edmonton between 8:00am and 5:00pm for 50 people and over $50.00 Delivery within Edmonton between 8:00am and 5:00pm for 100 people and over $75.00 Additional delivery fees will be applied to the following: Delivery within Edmonton prior to 8:00am, after 5:00pm and on weekends is subject to availability and a minimum additional charge of $20.00 Delivery to Sherwood Park is an additional fee of $20.00 For any second pickup of materials there will be a $25.00 charge Deliveries that require more set up time or orders that need to be carried up or down stairs may be subject to an additional minimum $20.00 charge.
STAFFING Experienced staff are available to set up, serve, and clean up your event. Hourly charge for servers is $24.00 and bartenders are $28.00, minimum 3 hours per staff. Overtime charges will apply if your event is extended. Please note for all staffed events a 15% event management fee will apply to your total bill. For weddings, an 18% event management fee will apply to your total bill. The event management fee includes total event organization including planning of food menu’s, quote requests, event planner compensation, catering staff administration, liquor controls, standard buffet décor, site visits, event set up, vehicle expenses, administration expenses, etc.
MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTS A minimum of 10 people is required for breakfast and lunch menu orders. For all reception, dinner and barbeque menu orders, there is a minimum of 20 people required.
RENTAL/ACCESSORIES Bridges would be pleased to provide you with linen tablecloths, china, glassware, flatware, chafing dishes, table decorations, flowers and more at individual pricing available on your request. Please note that rental prices can increase considerably due to pick up & drop off restrictions from various venues. Please inquire when booking.
CANCELLATION FEES In the event of cancellation of any order, a 50% cancellation fee will apply with less than 72 hours notice and a 100% cancellation fee will apply with less than 48 hours notice. A 100% cancellation fee will apply to rentals and accessories cancelled with less than 2 weeks notice.
VENUES Please note that many venues apply a surcharge on catered events. It is advisable to inquire with them when booking your event.
