GLUTEN INTOLERANCE Gluten Intolerance, or Celiac Disease, affects 1 in every 133 people in the USA. Gluten intolerance is the result of an immune-mediated response to the ingestion of gluten. Strict adherence to a gluten-free diet is the only treatment currently available. This involves the elimination of wheat, rye, barley, oats and derivatives of these grains from the diet. The following items on our menu contain these grains. Breaded Chicken Tenders Bread Pudding Onion Rings Carrot Cake Fried Mushrooms Triple Chocolate Brownie Burnt End Stew Cookies (chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar) Cabernet Steak Sauce Fudge Nut Brownies Lemon Caper Butter Salad Croutons Orange Macadamia Butter All breads (including rye and pumpernickel) All crackers (saltines, Club, Carr) French Fries (due to the possibility that breaded items have been fried in or near the same fryer) All barbecue sauces used by the restaurants are gluten and MSG-free. We have recently changed our retail bottled sauce to be gluten and MSG-free. Please refer to the label on the bottle. NOTE: The above lists are meant to include all items that are known to contain ingredients that might cause a reaction in individuals with MSG or Gluten Intolerance. However, since on occasion we receive products that have been substituted for our regular items, it is strongly encouraged that you discuss any dietary needs with the manager at the restaurant location you visit.
