We're proud to have been a part of the Pennsylvania diner community for more than 40 years ever since Grandpa George and Grandma Althea emigrated from Greece in 1970 with little more than the clothes on their backs, two small children and a burning desire to live the American Dream. Throughout the years, our journey has led us to our fantastic customers who have become an extension of our lives; we’ve watched their children grow, graduate school and start families of their own just as we have. It is the very fabric of what a family owned and operated business is all about. Indeed, John’s Diner was named after George and Althea’s first grandchild who is also our third generation restaurateur. Our story is not unique, but rather one that has been repeated in this Great Land for generations of Americans. Our goal at John’s Diner is a simple one: to provide you, our valued customer, with excellent service and quality food made from the freshest ingredients in an affordable and family friendly environment. For almost 40 years, our business has been about friends and family and we proudly continue that tradition here at John’s Diner.
