It is the best time of the year; the Daily Emerald photo desk term recap is here. This edition is always fun to put together and look through. It’s a treat to be able to run a print edition that shows the hard work put in by the photo desk throughout the 10 weeks of our term. This edition is filled to the brim with wonderful photos by our amazing desk. This desk is comprised of Alex Hernandez, Alyssa Garcia, Eddie Bruning, Eric Becker, Kai Kanzer (senior photographer), Kemper Flood, Lulu Devoulin, Sebastian Flores and Spencer So. Of course, this desk wouldn’t be complete or nearly as successful without the help of my lovely associate editor, Jonathan Suni. Thank you, Suni, for all of your hard work and dedication to the photo desk.
I feel so lucky to be able to lead and empower this amazing group of photojournalists. As you’ll see in this edition, there are some wonderful photos taken by the individuals of this desk. Take some time to relish in the beauty of photojournalism and take a look back on the winter term through the lens of the Daily Emerald photo desk.
Keep creating, Molly McPherson
